Kevin Harvick knows that he wouldn’t have the life he does today without grassroots asphalt racing – but current and future generations may not have the same opportunities.

Today, Kevin joins the Dale Jr Download to explain his plan to rebuild grassroots short track racing under the CARS Tour banner, and how his passion to help other drivers build brands and successful careers is what continues to fuel him during retirement from NASCAR.

Since retiring from full-time Cup Series driving, Harvick says he’s busier than ever, and he walks through how his management business and hands-on work with the tour have grown. The CARS Tour is expanding nationally with new tours across the country, plus the CARS STARS Super Tour.

Harvick explains why short track racing became so fragmented over the past two decades and how one set of rules could give racers a clear path forward. He also covers how to get drivers to promote themselves, and what teams can realistically earn. The conversation then turns personal, with Harvick talking about racing late model stocks, learning to compete without worrying about results, and racing against his son Keelan. It's time to kick off the weekend, and there's no better way to do it than with the Dirty Thirty — 30 minutes of the very best of Dirty Mo Media's shows from this week. Bristol gave us a wild finish, a wreck and a fight, and it's the hot topic everyone’s talking about.

We start with Joey Logano calling in to The Dale Jr. Download. Joey was more than 70 points behind when the Chase began, and after winning at Bristol, he's right back in the title fight. Dale asks if he's even a little surprised, and Joey breaks down how stage points helped him make up the ground. He also talks about the one thing from Kansas he says he'll never get over, and why he'd trade popularity for championships.

Speaking of Bristol, Door Bumper Clear takes on the Carson Hocevar and Ryan Blaney wreck in Spot On, Spot Off. Tommy Baldwin puts it on Ryan, explains why he doesn't think you can make that move on the dozen or so drivers who will never lift, and reminds everyone that the only people Ryan has ever fought are his two sisters.

And lastly, the driver of the No. 12 himself, Ryan Blaney, sat down with Denny Hamlin on Actions Detrimental to give his side of the story. Ryan explains why he walked over alone, why he calls the wreck a 50/50, and what he regrets now that he's had time to think about it.

The studio was lively this week for a special Wednesday show – an extended edition of Ask Jr with Dale and TJ.

The fans brought all of their best questions from social media and the live chat, covering topics like the biggest fights in NASCAR, the supposed brawl in the NASCAR Hauler between Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart, Dale’s terrifying crash at California 2002, and many more.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. gives listeners a closer look into one of his greatest personal friendships as he sits down with longtime country music recording artist Tim Dugger. Over the years, Tim has become known as the “NASCAR guy”, performing as a musical guest at many NASCAR events and becoming synonymous with at-track entertainment. But his path to the stage originated from humble beginnings, traveling as a church singer with his sister, jamming at local music stores with older musicians and grinding for years on the bar circuit. Tim explains the first time he ever performed at a NASCAR event, it was in a very unofficial capacity: setting up in the free camping area at Talladega with a speaker and performing for anyone that would listen.

Dale Jr. and Tim’s friendship stemmed from an Austin Dillon introduction, when Austin brought Tim along for a paintballing excursion on Dale’s property. After a few beers in the basement bar, the guitar came out and Tim showcased his deep repertoire of country music classics. Tim and his wife Tara would be extended an invitation to one of Dale and Amy’s Key West trips, and the couples have been close ever since. The interview covers Dale and Tim’s shared trauma from their childhoods, some hilarious stories from the road and shared adventures in Ireland.

The day the Wood Brothers let Josh Berry go, two people texted him. One was Joey Logano. The other was Riley Herbst, who had gotten “the worst call in all of motorsports” himself just two months earlier. Riley just wanted Josh to know that it gets better. And it did.

Josh went on the best stretch the Wood Brothers had seen since 1976, only to have his future questioned as soon as the results started to slip. Then, despite all of that, he ended up getting a call from Jimmie Johnson and a spot at Legacy Motor Club.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. sets out to learn more about his father as he sits down with longtime Earnhardt confidant and former MLB catcher Jody Davis. Jody had an MLB-record setting career as the man behind the plate, spending time with the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves before retiring in the early 90s. It was during his time on the Cubs that he’d meet Dale Earnhardt Sr., through a connection with Wrangler Jeans. He’d find himself at the 1986 NASCAR Cup season finale at Atlanta, where coincidently Dale Sr. would win his second championship. The two quickly bonded over their love of the outdoors and made off-season plans in Montgomery, Alabama to go hunting.

Dale Jr. and Jody reminisce about Dale Sr.’s competitive and daring nature. They also discuss the time Jody spent on the road with the famed No. 3-team as an over the wall pit crew member. The conversation also covers Jody’s career through the minor leagues after being drafted as a freshman in college, his memorable seasons with the Cubs, and his post-playing career as a team manager all over the world.

We open up with Dale Jr. talking us through why he thinks The Chase field is too large and should be trimmed down to 12 ... heck, maybe even 10 drivers!

Next up, Denny Hamlin had a tough day in Iowa because his brakes were basically useless. He discusses his conversations with NASCAR and the penalty they pondered creating if he went too far with his antics.

Then, in Door Bumper Clear, the gang highlights the comments Carson Hocevar made about the sport "being on a ventilator" and why they simply disagree with him.

Our guest on the Dale Jr. Download was Ken Ragan this week, and he had a front row seat to Richard Petty's 200th win -- literally!

Last but definitely not least, Amy can't believe it when Dale Jr. reveals he still has a rather unusual item you wouldn't expect the Intimidator to have owned.

Dale Jr. and Amy are back for another round of Bless Your ‘Hardt, and this one goes sideways quickly. The Stripper Squirrel makes its return and earns a new name, Dale and Amy debate whether they could survive a war, and Amy discovers that she may have been using Dale Sr.’s old tanning bed without realizing exactly whose butt had been in it.

They also get into Brooks Nader’s topless family vacation, the school orientation that had Dale and Amy both feeling awkward, and Dale learns that all those good deeds might not be his ticket into heaven after all.

It’s another classic Bless Your ‘Hardt episode you don’t want to miss.
