We discuss some amazing gigs we've been to as well as moaning about the distress of having to change trains at our age, falling over as opposed to having a fall, time travel via extreme volume and all of the usual shenanigans.

We each pick 5 songs that we really, really like. That's a nice simple one. We also cover Jive Bunny, band names with swear words in them and whether it's appropriate to use said swear words, while obviously using them, rubbish remixes and lots more pointless old rubbish.

We pick some of our favourite male voices. We also discuss singing with an accent, gravelly voices, the role of wankiness in Prog rock, along with the usual sophisticated humour and discourse you've come to expect.

We compile some of our favourite cover versions. There are also obscure Kids TV references, saving the world from alien invasion via the medium of bad karaoke, plus the usual going off on tangents, bad jokes, amnesia and general lack of professionalism.

We reminisce about 1997. Dave almost finishes a sentence, Jake is as erudite as ever. There are Marianne Faithfull cards making a racket, forgotten gigs, at least one reasonably funny joke, an astounding amount of Instagram views and all the usual mishaps.

We compile some of our favourite female fronted bands. Jake reveals he can speak Icelandic, Dave get's the title of one of his favourite LPs wrong. Twice! And doesn't even notice. Amateur! There's chortling, chuckling and at least one guffaw.

We investigate the musically fruitful year of 1989. Dave's memory proves as reliable as ever, Jake get's a new DJ moniker.

The ambient episode. Chill out as we discuss our favourite ambient LPs, and along the way touch on Dave's precarious mental health, Jake's escalator technique, crackling, ghostly voices, and even a couple of serious bits. After the 2 hour compilation marathon, an hour long sprint through a few brilliant singles. Allegedly. We still managed to go over an hour, even with only five picks each.

Yikes, a 2 hour + episode. Sorry about that. I had a list of this episodes highlights, but I appear to have mislaid it. However we do discuss the joys of a good compilation LP. A collection of songs you love all in one place, or a chance to broaden your musical horizons or a combination of both. Answers on a postcard to.......

More punky goodness. Dave gets distracted and forgets stuff, Jake ruins everything by picking loads of bands that Dave had picked as well, then Dave gets distracted and forgets stuff again. All in all, the usual amateurish fabulousness you've all come to know and love.

Part one of our punk rock special, covering our favourite bands from 1976 - 82. Dave is predictable, Jake is not quite so predictable. Expect the usual childish humour, lots of "you know" from Dave, and worrying examples of goldfish memory syndrome.

Girls! Girls! Girls! Our favourite contemporary female musicians are revealed. Plus the usual waffling on, umming and aahing, half finished sentences, going off on tangents, and that's just Dave's contribution.
