Paida Lajin Explained: Hongchi Xiao’s Self-Healing Routine (Part 2)

Can a simple routine of slapping and stretching really change how you think about pain?

In this episode of Younger Than Yesterday, Ian Clark sits down with Hongchi Xiao for part two of their conversation. Hongchi is the teacher behind Paida Lajin, the practice of slapping and stretching the body, and the man who first introduced Ian to self-healing nine years ago.

This time they get practical. They talk about pain, stress and the heart, and about the stories Hongchi gathered while in a British prison, including a cellmate who was a doctor and stopped thinking it was nonsense. Hongchi also explains why he teaches the same simple routine for almost every complaint.

It’s warm, funny and full of stories. It ends with plans for Hongchi’s workshops in North America.

The Secret Your Body Has Been Keeping: Hongchi Xiao on Self-Healing

In this episode of Younger Than Yesterday, Ian Clark sits down with Hongchi Xiao, the man who first introduced Ian to Paida Lajin, to self-healing, and to the connections between the physical and metaphysical in the body. Ian discovered Hongchi's work nine years ago in an interview, and it shaped much of what Ian practices and teaches today. This is their first conversation face to face, and this is Hongchi's story in his own words.

Hongchi grew up in China and taught English in a remote village school. He worked as a government interpreter in Tibet, then went to business school in Arizona. His finance career took him from the World Trade Center to Hong Kong. Then, at 40, he walked away from it all to search for ways of healing that had nothing to do with medication.

That search took him across western China, to Kung Fu masters, Taoist monks, a fisherman healer in an isolated mountain village, and an old nun with an unforgettable story. Along the way he came to the idea at the heart of his life's work: the most powerful healing isn't something done to you, it's something you learn to do yourself.

Then the conversation goes deeper. Hongchi and Ian talk about how the body and spirit are connected, about pain as a teacher, and about courage and responsibility. Hongchi explains why he believes healing the body is really a doorway to healing the mind.

In this episode, you'll discover:

Hongchi's path from investment banking to a lifelong search for self-healingThe chance meetings in China's mountains and monasteries that shaped Paida LajinWhy Hongchi chose to stop being a "healer" and became a teacher insteadHow Hongchi's work first reached Ian, and what it has meant to himWhy Hongchi calls pain "one of the most beautiful gifts"The connection between body, breath and spirit, and the Taoist idea of "no destruction, no construction"Hongchi's upcoming book, The Winds of Liberation

Bio-Well, Biofield Energy & Root-Cause Healing | Dr. Nima Farshid

What if your body works less like a machine of separate parts and more like an electrical system that needs clear, uninterrupted flow?

In this episode of Younger Than Yesterday, Ian Clark sits down with Dr. Nima Farshid, a doctor of integrative medicine and bioenergetics researcher. Thirteen years ago, doctors gave Nima two weeks to live and recommended a pacemaker for severe heart palpitations. Instead, he set out to find the root cause.

That search took him to Russia, Italy and Croatia, where he found technologies that measure, reconnect and recharge the body's energy, including the Bio-Well. Nima explains why so many people carry energy blockages in the neck and hips, and why unresolved emotions may be one of the biggest factors in long-term health.

Ian and Nima also explore a bigger idea: autonomy. When people have the tools to understand their own bodies, they stop outsourcing their health and start supporting the body's ability to heal itself. Both believe health isn't an expense but an investment, and that quality of life matters more than simply adding years.

In this episode, you'll discover how the Bio-Well measures light emitted from your cells, why your spine acts as the body's energy highway, how modern posture and sitting affect energy flow, the link between unresolved emotions and the nervous system, and why Ian sees health as the most important investment you can make.

How to Live a Longer, Healthier Life with 97-Year-Old Dr. Fred Bisci

What can nearly a century of life teach us about health, longevity and the extraordinary intelligence of the human body?

In this episode of Younger Than Yesterday, Ian Clark sits down with Dr. Fred Bisci, who is approaching 97 years old and has spent decades studying nutrition, fasting, human physiology and healthy aging.

Their conversation goes far beyond the latest longevity trends. Fred shares the principles that have shaped his approach to health over a lifetime, while Ian explores why he believes the future of longevity isn't about trying to "hack" the human body, but learning how to work with it.

Together, they discuss biological efficiency, the importance of consistency, removing habits that work against the body, maintaining curiosity as we age and why extending lifespan means very little if we aren't also protecting our quality of life.

Ian and Fred also explore something deeper: the responsibility that comes with knowledge. If better health allows us to remain present, capable and useful for longer, perhaps longevity isn't simply about living more years. Perhaps it's about having more years to contribute, serve and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

In this episode, you'll discover how Fred thinks about nutrition and fasting after decades of personal experience, why consistency may matter more than intensity, Ian's philosophy of "bio-optimization" rather than biohacking, the relationship between curiosity and healthy aging, and why both Ian and Fred believe health ultimately gives us a greater opportunity to serve.

How to Feel Younger at 70: Michael Jennings on Oral Health, Nasal Breathing & Listening to Your Body

At nearly 70 years old, Michael Jennings says he feels more energized, capable and connected to his purpose than he has in years.

In this episode of Younger Than Yesterday, Michael joins Ian Clark to share the personal health journey that began when he was advised to have 11 teeth extracted. Rather than immediately accepting that recommendation, he began asking deeper questions about oral health, nasal breathing and the body’s ability to restore balance when given the right support.

Michael discusses his experiences with dental discomfort, decades of restricted nasal breathing, obstructive sleep apnea and the daily practices he believes helped him reconnect with his health. Together, he and Ian explore the importance of learning through personal experience, becoming an active steward of your body and developing the discernment to recognize when something does not feel right.

The conversation also moves beyond physical wellness into purpose, faith, community and the inner peace that can guide important decisions. As Michael beautifully puts it, “It’s okay to be in the storm. Just don’t let the storm be in you.”

In this episode:

Why Michael questioned a recommendation to extract 11 teethThe connection between oral health and whole-body wellnessHis experience breathing through both nostrils after decades of difficultyThe daily wellness practices he follows at nearly 70Why knowledge only becomes powerful when it is appliedListening to your body and allowing peace to “call the shots”The importance of community, shared wisdom and personal responsibilityWhy growing older does not have to mean accepting decline

Jim Kwik: How to Upgrade Your Brain, Protect Your Mind From AI & Become Limitless Daily

What happens to human intelligence when technology begins doing more of our thinking for us?

In this episode of Younger Than Yesterday, Ian sits down with longtime friend, brain coach and bestselling author Jim Kwik for a conversation about protecting and developing the mind in an age of unprecedented technological convenience.

Jim shares how a childhood brain injury and the belief that he was “the boy with the broken brain” ultimately led to more than three decades of studying memory, learning, focus and human performance. Together, Ian and Jim explore the difference between using technology as leverage and surrendering our cognitive abilities to it, why critical thinking and judgment must continue to be exercised, and how AI can augment human intelligence without replacing it.

They also discuss the philosophy behind Jim’s new book, Limitless Daily, and why meaningful transformation is rarely the result of one extraordinary effort. It is the accumulation of small, deliberate practices repeated consistently over time.

From protecting the first moments of the morning to developing cognitive flexibility and learning to “build before you borrow,” this conversation is an invitation to become more intentional about what you give your attention to, how you exercise your mind, and who you are becoming through the habits you practice every day.

Nervous System Regulation, Movement & Longevity with Aaron Alexander

In this episode, Ian Clark sits down with Aaron Alexander, author of The Align Method, to explore why some of the most powerful approaches to longevity are also the simplest.

Together, they unpack how chronic stress, stagnation, and modern living can disconnect us from the foundations of health, and why movement, breath, sunlight, time outside, sleep, and nervous system regulation matter more than another complicated “biohack.” Aaron also shares how learning to remove physical and emotional static can create more space for the body to rest, regulate, and recover.

At its core, this conversation is about returning to the fundamentals and learning how to live more fully aligned with your body.

Peptides & Bioregulators Explained: The Truth About GLP-1, Ozempic & Weight Loss | Sarah Morgan

Ian sits down with Sarah Morgan — a nutrition biochemist who trained for medicine before pivoting into functional nutrition, genetics, and peptide education — to cut through the confusion around peptides, bioregulators, and GLP-1s. They cover what these molecules actually are, why the body already makes them, the real story behind GLP-1 weight regain and "cellular memory," why weight loss is the wrong metric to obsess over, and why none of this replaces sleep, nutrition, movement, and human connection.

Peptides and bioregulators aren't foreign substances — the body produces thousands of them daily, and most of what's being introduced through supplementation is supporting a signaling process the body is already designed to run. GLP-1 molecules aren't inherently good or bad; the outcome depends on dose, purpose, and what else is (or isn't) being addressed alongside them. Weight regain after stopping GLP-1s isn't a willpower failure — it's tied to an epigenetic "cellular memory" that can take years to fully reset. And no peptide protocol replaces the fundamentals: quality sleep, real food, movement, and genuine human connection.

Doctors Told Me I Was Dying at 46. Here’s What I Learned About Real Longevity

In this deeply personal and expansive episode, Ian Clark shares the full arc of his health journey from early systemic damage and a life threatening prognosis to rebuilding his body, mind, and spirit through a systems based, natural approach to healing.

At 46 years old, Ian was told his body was failing and that decline was inevitable. Tumors, cardiac irregularities, liver dysfunction, severe toxicity, and decades of accumulated damage painted a grim picture. But rather than accepting a prognosis without understanding, Ian made a pivotal decision to reclaim the executive role in his own health.

This conversation explores how true longevity is not determined by age, genetics, or statistics, but by the strength and coherence of the body’s interconnected systems. Ian breaks down how toxicity, environmental exposure, dental damage, long term antibiotic use, and unexamined medical conformity quietly erode health over time, and how regeneration becomes possible when those root causes are addressed.

You will hear how Ian shifted from symptom management to foundational repair, why health must be built in sequence, and how spiritual clarity, mental discipline, and personal responsibility play an essential role in physical healing. This episode is not about trends, hacks, or labels. It is about understanding the body as a living system and learning how to support it intelligently and naturally.

Above all, this is a conversation about willingness. The willingness to question what you were told. The willingness to take responsibility. And the willingness to do what it actually takes to become healthier every year, rather than decline with age.

From CPS Threats to Full Recovery: A Family’s Integrative Cancer Journey

YTY Ryan Stern

In this deeply moving episode of Younger Than Yesterday, Ian Clark sits down with integrative health researcher and educator Ryan Sternagel to share the extraordinary story of his son, Ryder.

At just eleven months old, Ryder was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer of the nervous system that had already spread through his spine and into his hips. What began as a small lump in his back became what doctors described as “the tip of the iceberg.”

What followed was a collision between two worlds: conventional oncology and integrative healing. Faced with rapidly shifting treatment plans, pressure from hospitals, and threats from child protective services, Ryan and his wife were forced to navigate one of the most complex medical landscapes imaginable.

This episode is not a rejection of conventional care. It is a story of measuring, questioning, personalizing, and integrating — and of trusting intuition when the path forward is unclear.

Eleven years later, Ryder is thriving. He skis, mountain bikes, practices jiu jitsu, and lives fully. His journey sparked a global movement that now helps thousands of families facing similar challenges.

In this episode, Ian Clark welcomes Dr. Joy Kong for a thoughtful discussion on integrative medicine, functional healing, and the body’s innate capacity to repair.

Dr. Kong reflects on her early life in China, her Western medical training at UCLA, and the personal experience that shaped her approach to healing: her mother’s recovery from multiple myeloma through a holistic path. Ian and Dr. Kong explore the limitations of symptom driven medicine, the importance of addressing systems rather than isolated conditions, and how functional medicine helps bridge Eastern wisdom with Western science.

They also discuss regenerative approaches such as stem cells within a broader framework of inflammation regulation, immune balance, and restoring the body’s original design.

The Missing Link in Modern Health: Detox, Trauma, and the Body’s Intelligence

Healing doesn’t fail because people aren’t trying hard enough.

It fails because we’ve misunderstood what healing actually requires.

In this episode, Ian Clark sits down with somatic and detox practitioner Eva Hooft to explore why so many people burn out, crash, or feel worse after doing everything “right” for their health.

Eva shares her personal journey through chronic illness, aggressive detox protocols, and a complete nervous system collapse, and how that experience reshaped her understanding of true healing. Together, they unpack why pushing the body too hard can backfire, why supplements can suddenly stop working, and why safety in the nervous system is a prerequisite for real recovery.

This conversation goes beyond protocols and lab results and into the deeper layers of healing. Ian and Eva discuss the role of fear, trauma, and unresolved emotion in chronic symptoms, why the body stores toxins beyond what blood work can show, and how mineral balance, bile flow, and proper drainage support the body without force.

They also explore the importance of purpose, alignment, and meaning in health, and why healing often accelerates when people stop fighting their bodies and start cooperating with them.

This episode reframes health as a process of nourishment, trust, and patience, not intensity, deprivation, or fear.

“You cannot detox a system that doesn’t feel safe. Healing happens when the body is nourished, supported, and no longer afraid.” — Eva Hooft

About Eva Hooft

Eva Hooft is a somatic and detox practitioner specializing in nervous system regulation, mineral balancing, and gentle detoxification. After navigating years of chronic illness, extreme detoxing, and nervous system collapse, she rebuilt her health by shifting away from force based healing and toward safety, nourishment, and emotional integration.

Today, Eva works one on one with clients and through group programs, helping people restore foundational health, regulate the nervous system, and release physical and emotional stressors without causing harm. She shares her research and teachings through her practice and online platforms, guiding individuals toward sustainable, long term healing.

What Happens When We Stop Treating Symptoms and Start Following the Evidence

In this episode, Ian Clark sits down with Dr. Bryan Ardis for an in-depth conversation that challenges conventional approaches to chronic illness and modern disease. Drawing from years of clinical experience, research, and pattern recognition, Dr. Ardis explores why chronic conditions are rarely random and why the body is often responding intelligently to toxic overload rather than malfunctioning.

This conversation focuses on root causes, not symptom management, and invites listeners to reconsider long-held assumptions about health, healing, and responsibility.

In This Episode, You’ll Learn:

• Why chronic illness cannot be explained by genetics or coincidence alone

• How autoimmune, neurological, and inflammatory conditions often share common underlying drivers

• The role environmental and chemical exposures play in disrupting cellular communication

• Why the body’s symptoms are signals of overwhelm, not failure

• How toxic burden can affect inflammation, oxygenation, clotting, and neurological function

• Why treating symptoms independently often misses the bigger picture

• The importance of supporting detoxification pathways in the correct sequence

• How aggressive detox can backfire when elimination systems are compromised

• The difference between suppressing symptoms and resolving root causes

• Why modern medicine excels at management but often avoids upstream investigation

• What it means to respect the body’s intelligence rather than override it

How Hormonal Chaos, Metabolic Dysfunction, and Trauma Are Wrecking Women’s Health—and What Actually Works | Dr. Mariza Snyder

Hormones don’t lie. And when they’re out of sync, so is your energy, your mood, your metabolism, and your mind.

In this conversation with Dr. Mariza Snyder, we’re getting to the real reason so many women feel chronically tired, emotionally triggered, metabolically drained, and hormonally unstable. It’s not age. It’s not bad luck. It’s a perfect storm of trauma, cortisol, and modern stress wrecking the body from the inside out, and the solutions aren't what most women are being told.

We talk hormone shifts from puberty to perimenopause, the trauma-productivity trap, why low body temperature is a red flag, and how circadian rhythm, oxytocin, and blood sugar stability play a central role in real healing.

Dr. Mariza doesn’t just understand the science; she lives it. And she’s got a framework for how women can finally reclaim their energy, sanity, and resilience.

“If we could just extend the longevity of our ovaries, we win the game of health span.” — Dr. Mariza

About Dr. Mariza Snyder:

Dr. Mariza is a functional practitioner, women’s hormone expert, and the author of several bestselling books. After overcoming her own health struggles with chronic pain and fatigue, she has dedicated her practice to helping women identify the root causes of their hormonal issues and reclaim their energy and vitality.  She is the host of the "Energized" podcast and a trusted resource for hundreds of thousands of women worldwide.

How to Heal Generational Trauma and Recode Your Nervous System | Josh Trent

There’s a reason your healing hasn’t fully landed yet—and it has less to do with supplements or routines, and more to do with how your body stores emotional trauma, how your breath patterns are wired for survival, and how your nervous system has been shaped by generations before you.

That’s the heart of this conversation: emotional epigenetics, breathwork, and the real science behind how to regulate your nervous system, release trauma held in the fascia, and actually transform your identity—not with hacks, but with honest, embodied work.

My guest today, Josh Trent, is a pioneer in what he calls “emotional epigenetics”—a field that blends ancient healing wisdom with cutting-edge neuroscience to unlock something we’ve all been craving: freedom from the unconscious patterns and trauma loops that keep us stuck.

Josh is the founder of the Wellness and Wisdom podcast and the creator of The LIFE Method—a process that helps people increase their capacity to feel, heal, and become unfuckwithable. He’s been on a deep journey—from childhood trauma and addiction to becoming one of the clearest voices on breathwork, nervous system regulation, and spiritual integration.

We’re talking about breathwork as the bridge between biology and emotion, the 90-second lifespan of an emotion, how trauma gets passed down epigenetically (and how to clear it), and why true healing starts with emotional honesty.

“When people increase their capacity to feel, they will heal 99% or more of what ails them.”—Josh Trent

About Josh Trent:

Josh is the founder of the Wellness + Wisdom Podcast, a top-ranked show in the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness space. He’s been teaching breathwork, emotional healing, and identity transformation for over a decade, with a focus on helping people reclaim their wholeness through what he calls the LIFE method: Liberation, Internal work, Frequency raising, and Embodiment.

Scalar Energy, Parasites, and the Power of Frequency: How Quantum Technology Is Healing the Body and Expanding Human Potential | Philipp Samor Von Holtzendorff-Fehling

There’s a quiet shift happening—one that can’t be measured by mainstream tools or seen with the naked eye—but once you experience it, you can’t unfeel it.

That’s what this conversation is about: tuning into a whole new energetic frequency that affects everything from cellular regeneration and deep sleep to business success, pet vitality, and even the way you walk into a room.

My guest today, Philipp Samor Von Holtzendorff-Fehling, is the creator of Quantum Upgrade—a system that uses customized scalar fields and quantum entanglement to surround your body, business, or even your home with targeted, high-vibration frequencies that you control in real time. No device required.

You’ll hear us break down what this technology is, how it works, why it’s backed by science, and how people—including world-class athletes and cancer survivors—are using it to radically accelerate their recovery, boost performance, and shift their consciousness.

You’ll also hear how I’ve been using it in my own life—from improving my sleep to helping friends going through serious health challenges—and why I believe it’s one of the most affordable, high-return, zero-effort health upgrades available right now.

If you’re looking for something that works invisibly but powerfully, this is it.

“The quantum upgrade on its own already helps to reduce the parasitic load just because of the vibration.”— Philipp Samor Von Holtzendorff-Fehling

About Philipp Samor Von Holtzendorff-Fehling:

Philipp is the founder of Quantum Upgrade and Leela Quantum Tech. After a successful corporate career, he devoted his life to developing consciousness-enhancing tools and quantum frequency devices based on natural scalar fields. The Lunar Wave Phenomenon, Our Secret Binary Sun & Surviving Information Control in a New Age | Crrow 777 Explains What He's Filmed With His Telescope

There’s a weird moment when you realize most of what you’ve been told was never true—and yet it shaped your entire life.

That’s where this conversation starts—with a man who refused to ignore what his own eyes were showing him.

Crrow 777 isn’t here to sell you a theory. He’s not even here to convince you of anything. He just films the sky, shares what he sees, and lets you decide what it means. Lunar waves. A second sun. Glitches in the fabric of what we call reality. And the deeper he looked, the more undeniable it became: we’re living inside a controlled narrative that’s afraid of people remembering their natural power.

This episode isn't about controversy. It’s about clarity. About what happens when you stop outsourcing your thoughts. About how control systems—from calendars and clocks to digital frequencies—are designed to disconnect us from the natural rhythms that govern truth and health.

We also dig into what it means to live spiritually awake in a coerced society. What standing up costs. What sovereignty requires. And why your own breath—yes, your literal breath—is one of the most sacred battlegrounds there is.

“ The value of the internet for research, unless you're really good at it and know how to get around things, is just really limiting. ” — Crrow 777

About Crrow 777

Crrow 777 is an independent sky observer, documentarian, and founder of the Crrow 777 Radio podcast. He’s known for capturing the now-famous “lunar wave” and questioning foundational assumptions about our world—from space and time to consciousness and the sun itself. Cellular Aging, Oxidative Stress, and Toxic Overload—and How to Reverse It with Transdermal Glutathione with Dr. Nayan Patel

There’s this moment in life—quiet but unmistakable—when you realize you’re not trying to live forever. You just want to live fully today.

That’s what struck me in this conversation with Dr. Nayan Patel, a pharmacist-turned-cellular healing pioneer whose journey has been anything but conventional. He’s not trying to be flashy or overcomplicate what healing looks like. He’s just deeply obsessed with getting the body back to doing what it was designed to do: regenerate, reset, and thrive.

Dr. Patel has spent the last 25 years studying one thing most people overlook—glutathione, the master antioxidant. But he didn’t stop at theory. He created a breakthrough topical formula that gets it into the body—through the skin and straight into your cells—without needing injections or complicated delivery systems. This is something no one else has done.

And what happens when you restore glutathione at the cellular level? People feel more clear-headed. Their joints stop hurting. Their blood sugar improves. Their skin changes. Their energy returns. Not because of hype. Because the body finally has the fuel to do what it knows how to do.

In this episode, we unpack oxidative stress, aging, detox, glutathione recycling, cell-to-cell transfer, and what true recovery looks like—physically, emotionally, and even spiritually. Dr. Patel also shares the story of his father, who went from surviving at 77 to hiking in New Zealand in his 80s. It’s not a miracle. It’s biology—unlocked the way it should’ve been all along.

“ Your body is made so magnificently that it has the capacity to heal itself.” — Dr. Nayan Patel

About Dr. Nayan Patel

Dr. Nayan Patel is the founder of Auro Wellness and Auro Skincare, and the world’s leading expert on transdermal glutathione therapy. After graduating from one of the top pharmacy schools in the U.S., he quickly realized that mainstream medicine was only managing disease—not reversing it. For over two decades, he’s been on a mission to change that, developing a proprietary delivery system that allows glutathione—the body’s most powerful detox molecule—to be absorbed through the skin and directly into cells. His research has helped thousands reclaim their energy, reduce oxidative stress, improve blood sugar, and experience real, lasting healing from the inside out.

Dr. Austin Lake on Gut Health, Hormonal Imbalance, and Stewarding the Body as a Temple

Some people spend decades looking for healing in supplements, prescriptions, and the next trendy protocol—when what’s really missing is something deeper.

It’s how we see our bodies.

That’s what hit me when I sat down with Dr. Austin Lake—functional medicine practitioner, physiotherapist by training, and someone whose journey into natural healing was shaped by real trauma, loss, and a relentless curiosity to figure out what actually works.

Austin isn’t here to throw another supplement at you or tell you to “just detox.” He’s been on the ground, one-on-one, helping women—especially those with autoimmune issues, fatigue, thyroid problems, hormonal imbalances—get their lives back. And what he teaches comes from experience, not theory.

In this episode, we go deep into the root causes of chronic pain and hormonal disruption, the spiritual cost of ignoring the body, and the big lie we’ve all been told—that our genes matter more than our choices.

He breaks down how estrogen dominance is tied to gut dysfunction, why your mitochondrial energy is tanking, and how improving cellular health changes everything. We talk about the toxic burden from our environment, our food, our beliefs, and how to stop outsourcing responsibility for our health to broken systems.

"Your genetics matter more than your lifestyle. That's the big lie that is told to us." — Dr. Austin Lake

About Dr. Austin Lake

Dr. Austin Lake is a functional medicine practitioner and founder of Theophilus Health and the Wholly Health Program, known for helping thousands of women overcome chronic fatigue, hormone imbalances, thyroid issues, and autoimmune conditions through a root-cause, faith-based approach. Jane Hogan on Rheumatoid Arthritis, Mind-Body Healing, and the Voice That Changed Everything

There's something powerful about hitting rock bottom—when your body is screaming so loud you can't ignore it anymore.

That's where Jane was. A successful civil engineer who went from running her life to barely being able to make a fist or walk across a room. Rheumatoid arthritis had taken over completely.

But here's what makes Jane's story different—she didn't just get better. She got a voice. A literal voice that told her she was going to figure this out and teach others.

Jane reversed her rheumatoid arthritis completely and discovered something most people never learn: your subconscious mind creates the actual chemistry of stored emotions, and if you don't deal with them, they literally get stuffed away in your body.

She shares the gut-healing protocol that gave her hope in just five days, why childhood trauma at 50 nearly derailed everything, and the free tools that might be more powerful than any supplement you'll ever take.

"If we want to have a different result, we can't keep doing the same thing—we have to make changes."— Jane Hogan

About Jane Hogan

Jane Hogan is a functional medicine-certified health coach, certified yoga teacher, and Energy Codes-certified facilitator based in Newfoundland, Canada. After a successful career as a civil engineer, a family crisis in 2015 triggered severe rheumatoid arthritis that left her barely able to function.

Rather than accepting a lifetime of medication and declining health, Jane embarked on a comprehensive healing journey that addressed everything from gut health and food sensitivities to childhood trauma and nervous system regulation. She completely reversed her rheumatoid arthritis and now dedicates her life to teaching others how to heal chronic pain and autoimmune conditions.

Through her membership program "Living Pain Free" and her podcast "Wellness By Design," Jane helps people understand that they have far more power over their health than they've been told. Her approach combines the analytical mind of an engineer with deep wisdom about emotional healing, stress management, and the mind-body connection.

Jane is passionate about teaching people that healing doesn't require expensive protocols—many of the most powerful tools are free, portable, and available right now through breath work, nervous system regulation, and addressing stored emotional trauma.

Dr. Wendy Myers on Heavy Metals, Energy Fields, and Detoxing the Modern Body

Sometimes it’s not your diet, your hormones, or even your genetics.

It’s the invisible load you’ve been carrying—chemicals, metals, frequencies, trauma—that’s quietly dragging down your energy, fogging your brain, and aging your body from the inside out.

That’s what I learned sitting down with my longtime friend and detox expert Dr. Wendy Myers.

Wendy isn’t just another functional health voice—she’s a woman who’s lived through the storm. At 37, she was exhausted, hormonally shot, and still doing “everything right.” What she uncovered changed the course of her life—and now it’s changing thousands of others too.

In this episode, she shares how heavy metals like mercury and arsenic silently disrupt your gut, hormones, and immune system… why iron toxicity is behind rising insulin resistance and diabetes… and how emotional trauma stored in your energy field could be the silent saboteur of your health.

Wendy also breaks down why bioenergetic scans might be the future of wellness—and how she uses frequency therapy daily to clear energy blocks, boost resilience, and support everything from gut health to hormone balance.

“You cannot release emotional traumas through talk therapy—because most of it, you’re not consciously aware of.” — Dr. Wendy Myers.

About Dr. Wendy Myers

Dr. Wendy Myers is a functional diagnostic nutritionist and founder of Myers Detox, one of the leading resources for heavy metal detoxification and bioenergetic healing. After discovering she had dangerous levels of mercury, arsenic, and uranium at age 37, despite living an extremely healthy lifestyle—Dr. Myers went down the rabbit hole of toxicity research and never looked back.

Over the past 15 years, she's helped over 5,000 people through her bioenergetic programs and reaches 40,000+ monthly listeners through her Myers Detox podcast. Her work focuses on the intersection of heavy metal toxicity, emotional trauma stored in the energy field, and cutting-edge frequency-based healing technologies.

Dr. Myers is passionate about filling the gaps that conventional medicine leaves wide open—testing for parasites, addressing emotional trauma, and identifying the root causes of hormone disruption, immune dysfunction, and accelerated aging. Her approach combines rigorous science with practical, at-home protocols that give people their power back.

Dr. Bastidas on Enzymes, Inflammation, and the Hidden Root of Chronic Illness

It starts as something small—a little bloat, stiffness in the joints, maybe some brain fog. But for millions of people, it escalates into chronic pain, autoimmune disease, digestive issues, or even cancer.

And we’ve all been taught to chase symptoms with supplements, pills, and protocols… but what if the real fix was one foundational tool the body actually wants?

Dr. Milton Bastidas says the answer is enzymes.

In this episode, Dr. Bastidas—Director of Research & Development at Transformation Enzymes and a certified functional medicine expert—unpacks the truth about proteolytic enzymes and how they quietly regulate everything from immune overdrive and digestion to systemic inflammation and tissue repair.

We dig into the data behind enzymes and prostate cancer reversal, how chronic stress depletes your gut’s natural defenses, and why most people are walking around enzyme-deficient without even knowing it.

This one is dense in the best way—real protocols, real mechanisms, real hope for healing.

"No matter if we're speaking about metabolic syndrome, hypertension, autoimmune conditions, or cancer—they all have one common denominator, and that's inflammation." — Dr. Bastidas
