About Marion
Marion is widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes of all time. She made history as the first woman to win five medals at a single Olympic Games, earning three gold and two bronze medals at the 2000 Summer Olympics. A standout at the University of North Carolina, she helped lead the Tar Heels to an NCAA Championship and became a global icon, appearing on the covers of Time, Vogue, and Sports Illustrated, with partnerships from brands like Nike, Gatorade, and Got Milk.
In 2007, she faced one of the most defining chapters of her life?taking full responsibility, returning her medals, and serving a 6-month prison sentence. What followed was not retreat, but transformation. Just four months after giving birth to her third child, Marion returned to professional sports in the WNBA and began a new chapter rooted in discipline, truth, and growth.
Today, Marion is a speaker, entrepreneur, elite performance coach, and founder of MJEP?Marion Jones Elite Performance. Through her app, training programs, and merchandise, she helps people build consistency, resilience, and strength?physically and mentally. Above all, she?s a devoted mother and a living example of what it means to rise after a fall and redefine what winning truly means.

In a world where over 49% of American adults report significant daily stress, Dr. Gary Sprouse is offering something radical: Finding Your Happy Place and, more importantly, tools to reduce stress.
This Sunday SoulDay episode features Dr. Gary Sprouse, a retired physician turned author, speaker, and mindset specialist known as The Less Stress Doc. After four decades of treating thousands of patients, he uncovered a powerful truth:
? Most human stress isn?t caused by what?s wrong with us ? it?s a side effect of what?s right with us - our changing environments.
Our ability to envision the future becomes worry.
Our empathy becomes guilt.
Our memory becomes regret.
Our intelligence becomes overwhelm
In this episode, Dr. Sprouse shares how stress nearly consumed his own life, what he calls his ?55-gallon drum of stress,? and how retirement actually opened the door to continue his life?s purpose in a new way: helping people break stress loops and return to their ?Happy Place.?
This conversation is for you if you are?
?? Feeling overwhelmed or stretched thin
?? Caught in a loop of worry, guilt, or perfectionism
?? Wanting more peace, clarity, or emotional balance
?? Curious about the science of stress, mindset, and healing

A former U.S. diplomat for 15 years, he played key roles in revolutionary Libya, Vietnam, NATO, the U.S. Mission to the UN, and served as a foreign policy advisor to Senator John Glenn. Beyond diplomacy, he?s an accomplished mountaineer, achieving the first (and still unrepeated) ascent of Denali?s treacherous north wall.
Since 1983, John has been a driving force behind the Giraffe Heroes Project, an initiative that honors those who ?stick their necks out? for the greater good. A Harvard and Stanford graduate, he is also the author of several books, including Outdoor Leadership, It?s Up to Us, Stick Your Neck Out, and Quest.
