Jenifer Lockwood became a surgical nurse in Florida, grew up watching her mother struggle with addiction, developed her own health complications that introduced her to prescription pills, and eventually built a scheme at her job calling in fraudulent prescriptions to pharmacies to feed the addiction before law enforcement set her up at a pharmacy and arrested her — producing a 15 year Florida state prison sentence that she served 13 years of before sobriety, a paralegal career built inside those walls, and a complete life transformation gave everything that addiction cost her a completely different second chapter.

Harold Doby III grew up in Georgia with a mother who worked as a correctional officer and a father who was secretly a drug dealer — and when his father was sentenced to 19 years in prison Harold was seven years old and sports became the thing that kept everything together. He had his first child at 16, went on to play Division 1 and Division 2 college basketball, played overseas until an injury ended his career, and then fired a single shot from his licensed firearm in self defense during a bar altercation he says he was not a part of — and watched that decision produce a nearly $200,000 restitution order, 20 years of probation, and eventually a 45 year prison sentence when job loss and injuries made the restitution impossible to pay in the time the court required.

Cole Goldberg was 22 years old when his girlfriend — a woman who appeared on the TLC reality TV show 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After — accused him of attempted murder at the 2022 Boca Bash, a massive annual boating event in Lake Boca Raton, claiming he held her head underwater during an argument on the boat. He was charged with attempted second-degree murder, domestic battery by strangulation, and simple battery — and spent nearly four years fighting those charges before finally going to trial. Tara Perry grew up in Texas with her father out of the picture, raised by her mother and grandparents in a family where functioning addiction was just part of daily life — which is how she first got exposed to meth as a teenager and started using at just 13 years old. Davione Warren grew up in New Jersey without his father in the picture. His mother worked hard to give him and his siblings a better life — but the streets pulled him in young. Gang life juvenile detention and drug dealing became all he knew. He wanted to use street life to fund a future in music — but instead he did state time in his late teens and caught a federal case in his early 20s that resulted in 84 months in federal prison. Julio Almanza grew up in Chicago after his father walked out — and that loss set everything in motion. The streets became his family the Satan Disciples became his identity and the Mexican cartel became his employer. At just 17 years old he was caught smuggling drugs on the Mexico side of the border and spent the next four years locked up in a Mexican prison before being transferred to federal custody in the United States. When he got out he went straight back. Ten more years in federal prison followed. He left the Satan Disciples and joined the Latin Kings — and his former gang immediately put hits out on him. He survived moved to Arizona to start over ended up back inside and finally turned his life around completely.

What nobody knew was that as a child he had been sexually abused by a neighbor — something he carried completely alone for years while navigating construction work womanizing and alcohol abuse after high school. Frankie Rosario grew up in Florida after being born in Connecticut — raised by a good family with strong morals and an exceptional mind that made him stand out academically from an early age. He was headed toward a career in medicine. Then his cousin made him an offer that changed the entire direction of his life — $15000 a week to get involved in a drug operation shortly after graduating college in his early twenties. What followed was not street level dealing. Frankie operated in an administrative capacity — handling logistics organizing shipments and laundering money for an operation that moved kilos of heroin and generated thirty to forty million dollars a year. They used his father's flooring business as a front. And when federal investigators finally caught up with the operation Frankie was sentenced to ten years in federal prison — starting in the penitentiaries and working his way down. Jeremy Harrell is a United States Army combat veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom suffered mental health and brain injuries from combat received a 70% plus Individual Unemployability disability rating from the VA and spent years battling PTSD depression and sleeplessness. In 2018 he started a private Facebook page to help fellow veterans. In 2019 he incorporated Veterans Club a faith based nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans overcome PTSD traumatic brain injuries substance abuse and homelessness. He was an unpaid volunteer. He received no salary. In 2024 the Biden DOJ convicted him of theft of government funds for receiving VA disability benefits while serving as an unpaid volunteer CEO. In December 2024 he was sentenced to 6 months in federal prison and 6 months of home confinement. He surrendered to federal prison in Ashland Kentucky on January 28 2025. Tony Bova always felt different growing up — and the path to becoming a Massachusetts State Trooper was anything but straight. After getting rejected from law enforcement multiple times he became a Boston paramedic first before finally breaking through to the Massachusetts State Police. In this episode of Locked In with Ian Bick, Tony opens up about everything — the early days on the job the first calls that hit different why traffic stops and construction sites are genuinely some of the most dangerous situations a trooper faces and what moving into homicide and death investigations really looks like. He shares the cases and calls that will never leave him and opens up about something most law enforcement stories never address honestly — that the hardest parts of his career weren't the job itself but his personal life. After 10 years he medically retired following an injury and has been processing everything that came with it ever since.
