I pride myself on being a "translator of geek-speak" but even more so working really hard to be the best communicator I can, possibly when on stage, behind the podcast microphone, or even at the dinner team with friends.

So you might be thinking we know Brian using phrases like "Wen Lambo" or "Eth Maxi" or "Dgens" make things confusing but it's part of the culture...   And you would be right and I think those things are actually important aspects for the culture to continue to embrace and use. 

Although when it comes to marketing to Web 2.0 frens or trying to onboard those who have yet to buy an NFT we must move away from saying things like "utility and roadmap" and instead say benefits and business plan. 

We must also take it a step further and be strategic with what order we use certain words and what variables exist with those we are talking to so we can adjust on the fly which sounds a bit crazy but I promise I explain and give some examples...

One of my favorite aspects of this Web 3.0 and NFT space is the pace of innovation and how we are often building on concepts that other web 3.0 categories have deployed and tested. 

In this case "staking crypto" has been around for a long while but with NFTs has only recently become common place in many NFT projects and I believe will be the norm over the next couple months. 

What is Staking exactly? 
In my words it's: Locking your NFT within another contract or protocol that will provide benefits for the NFT holder and also help shrink the supply for sale and commit the holders to holding for a period of time benefiting the NFT project founders.

The trends of early adoption cycles are something I never really bought into until recently as noticed the similarities as I look back on my career being an early adopter with the first international blackberry, beta testing apps on the original iPhone to launching shows on Google +, Meerkat and Blab.

I don't really like the phrase "we are all early" because what does that even mean as far as action... 

I prefer saying we are all "just getting started" and with that just getting started framework we have to recognize that things are going to be far from perfect while also owning the fact that if we want to drive change and make things happen we have to push what's possible to prove what needs to be created.

Web 2.0 has created many amazing things and in most cases we will need to leverage those things in combination with Web 3.0 solutions to drive true innovation, especially over the next 2-5 years.

I've been lucky enough to make a career as a keynote speaker traveling around to conferences and events around the world and most recently attending a wide range of NFT industry events from NFT NYC to Miami NFT Week. 

This week was my first "NFT Collection" event, Veecon for VeeFriends of course hosted by nonother than Gary Vaynerchuk.  

Although I'm a VF2 holder and been a big fan and aligned with Gary since 2014 I also knew this event was during a tough time in the NFT/Crypto space as well as in a world still dealing with covid so I will admit my expectations were low.  

1 hour into I was blown away at the production level and the overall vibe of the vent.

Today we celebrate six months of daily content for NFT 365 Daily Podcast & Mintt & buying an NFT every day for #mint365 Crazy to think we arrived at @NFT_NYC, unsure of what type of content we would create & 6 days after this photo Drew Cohen & I launched on 11.11.21! 

The team quickly grew to include Ryan Hurry & Kevin Sturmer.

We added a blog and daily graphics and built out a plan to launch our own NFTS on 12.12.21. 

As the discord began to grow and we entered the top 25 on Spotify and Apple podcasts, this little crazy idea took on a world of its own!! I've shared this before but at the start, I believed it would be a win if we made it to Xmas without missing a day.

The thing I underestimated for inspiring the consistency to become a habit was the power of this listener community and how all the comments and messages began to fuel more significant ideas and more growth with $ADHD coin utilities and more. 

We added guest episodes on Twitter spaces and I joined as a co-host to the weekly #AlphaMondays. 

The new factions of FOUNDERS Mint 365 NFT & SuperFanz Mint 365 NFT to the family and grew our team to include Allison Laura + Amy Moffatt + Native for Crypto

We hit 250k downloads and as we launched MetaAthletes alongside this community....   

We knew we needed to grow even more adding to our team with Chris Carter  Joshua Stoner  &  James.

We have taken trains, planes, and automobiles to events from NYC to San Diego to Miami to Arizona, with upcoming trips to Minneapolis, Ohio, Austin, and Nyc next months. 

The lessons learned and stories range from Kevinsturmer stepping in when the tech failed to host everyone's favorite episode to the creation of Trivia night, accountability meetups, and guest DJ Friday nights. 

I write all of this to say we had no idea what this would become but inspired by Beeple and GaryVee, we pressed the damn button, and the rest has started to fall in place.

Maybe the craziest part of this entire thing is that it feels like we are just getting started building a SUPERPOWERED community that will soon include merch, PfP NFT collection, game theory experiences, and in-person events just in the next 60 days. 

We > Me Is our mantra as we believe that we together are greater than me?. 

And these last six months are living proof of the true power of WE!!

There seems to be no doubt we are in a bear market at the moment with NFTs and Crypto down day over day and with that can come a sense of confusion and chaos which is understandable.  
But during these uncertain times that force us to pause or to adjust it's important for us to learn from our past on how we can adapt, the things we will no longer accept and what we can look forward to or plan for in the future. 

Right now I believe is a perfect time to look at things like NFT marketplaces, preferred blockchains and even utility that is of value to us and start adjusting our strategies and preparing for the market to make a future bull run.  

While I also think this is a great time for NFT projects to embrace change and mainly I believe that's in the sense of communication with NFT owners and adjusting how, where and why we are making our communication a priority.

The truth is Flipping NFTs isn't easy....  But also the blockchain and NFT success isn't as complicated as many like to make it appear.
