A haunting that reads like the basis for a really good horror movie. Four very different and very interesting tales this week! Dan kicks us off with a story  somewhere in west Texas that centers around some Black Eyed Children. MAYBE. If not BEK, than what? Then, a second story that is set in two different locations in South Carolina, that both claim to be haunted, and both share the same name: The Rose Hill Plantation.  Lynze has two very unique tales this week. Her first explores vulture culture briefly and lost time and space amongst friends. What kind of chaos can you expect when exploring dead carcasses? Wrapping it up, the last tale is of astral projection. Such a heady concept that both Dan and Lynze have musings on.

Thanks to our fans who listen on iHeart! We are so grateful for the extra love from them! Dan kicks off this weeks show with a doozy! Neither are normal when it comes to subject matter. No ghosts today. No demons. No shadow people or even cryptids. Both have an extraterrestrial spin to them. The first deals with a woman in the late 1960s encountering something horrifying and seemingly not of this world. It?s a very strange story. Then, a series of encounters with UFOS, and possibly extraterrestrial beings as well, spotted around Russia, primarily back in 1989 when it was still the USSR. Lynze gives us a creepy but also funny tale about a haunted item brought home from GoodWill. Then she shares a story that we suspect ties to Native American Folklore.

Dan starts with an alleged anonymous modern encounter involving a man hearing a girl?s voice as a child - a voice asking him to wake up, and a voice that keeps asking this for many, many years - well into adulthood. And then finally, something very strange happens that leaves him feeling certain that this voice did not just belong. Then, a tale that is about the mysterious and troubling disappearance of a young man who disappeared in the Idaho wilderness, not far from where Dan grew up, back in 2018.  Lynze takes us back to our childhoods with a creepy game of hide and seek. Then she wraps up this episode with an unexplainable story from an EMT.

Dan's first tale he is telling is about an anonymous woman allegedly encountering something terrifying in a stairwell. Then, in his second storey,  we learn about an allegedly cursed painting, The Crying Boy, produced by Italian artist Giovanni Bragolin. This painting was mass produced, and an alarming number of homes where prints of this painting have been displayed have burned down over the years. Yet the print itself almost never burns with them. Coincidence? Let's dig in. Lynze has some awesome fan submitted horror this week! The first is a classic road trip story that has a young couple spending the night in a creepy motel. Then, to finish out the episode, Lynze has a story about a little kids nightmares coming to haunt his whole family.

Dan has one really big tale that is beyond captivating and unsettling. It's hard to say more without ruining the story. Then, Lynze brings us three stories this week. Her first is a about a possible encounter with a BEK, kind of. Less of a child and more of an adult. Maybe. Then, did a young boy see the infamous Hat Man or was it someone else? Dan shares two stories. The first one is a big one. We?ll visit the Gunter Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. Did an infamous murder committed there in 1965 lead to the hotel gaining a reputation for being particularly haunted?  The history at the top of this tale is awesome!  Then, we?ll travel across the pond to Leeds, England and look into a claim that either a monster or someone who was just monstrous moved into a row house right after its tenants moved out in the 1940s, and began harassing the neighbors. Lynze also gives us two tales from opposite sides of the world. Her first story is about a  seance gone wrong. But let's be honest: when do they ever go "right"? Then, a very freaky and bizarre tale of a possible alien encounter in Australia!

Dan has one big tale for us this week. A story based in fictional internet horror lore, but the person who posted it CLAIMS that this lore has come to life somehow. The strange liminal world of the Backrooms. We?ve talked about the concept of the multiverse and/or parallel dimensions several times. Could the creepy world of the Backrooms be next to ours? Can you end up there? Can you end up stuck there? Then Lynze has two spoopy tales that are a bit more heady. Her first will ask you to examine if you believe that the supernatural could save you from the horrors of this world. Then, three police officers have a shared experience that none of them can explain. Was it supernatural? Men in black? You decide.

Dan comes with his usual two stories this week. One bigger one, and then a little one. We?ve done a fair amount of haunted asylum stories here over the years, but few with as detailed of a backstory as today?s. We will start by learning about Henry Cotton - a truly mad doctor who worked at the New Jersey State Hospital at Trenton, now The Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. The we will explore if his ghost  now haunts the abandoned portions of this facility. Then, Dan dives into the creepy legend of a supposedly cursed doll named, Joliet. Has this doll been killing newborn babies for decades? Is this a family of Donna's? Let's find out. Then, Lynze has two really intense stories as well and she offers a warning at the top of the show for all parents- these are going to tug at your heartstrings. In her first story, she will share a story about a young child who drowns and nearly doesn't come back. But when she does, does she bring something, or someone, with her? Wrapping up the show, she has a story about a group of friends who go camping but come back minus a friend who seems to have simply vanished.

Dan shares a most wild story of creepy Adobe Flash curse being passed around the internet. Then, Dan shares what is possibly a more disturbing tale from Bergen Norway of a Death Valley that holds much lore. Lynze has her standard two tales this week. Dan's first story is a modern encounter story that fits into the Rules of Appalachia Lore. There are a bunch of stories that floated around on TikTok and Reddit the last few years regarding what kinds of strange creatures might be in the woods of Appalachia. His  second has to do with aa Baltimore, Maryland legend. Today?s story  it that of a teenage girl who met some sort of tragic end, and whose ghost now seems to be seeking revenge on the living. Lynze has two truly epic tales this week. Her first one will take you on a rollercoaster ride like no other. A haunted house that drives a family mad, in particular one person, who never returns to the safety of our world. Story two will make all of your doll fears come to life!

Dan's first story  first revolves around Black Aggie - the name of a statue that sat for years in a Maryland cemetery and attracted a number of paranormal claims, many of which were featured in various articles in the Baltimore press. Then we explore some Cherokee Folklore. The story of the Yunwi Tsunsdi  aka?. the ?Little People.? Most of the stories come from the area of Hickory Nut Gorge, North Carolina. A haunted house trifecta from Lynze this week is sure to please! Her first two tales are quick classic with the children of the home knowing that it's haunted but the parents brushing it off... until they too find confirmation. Her third tale takes us back to the Whaley House in San Diego!

Dan has two excellent scares this week. The first comes from friend of one of our staff. It is CREEPY. What starts off looking like a bad case of sleep paralysis  or nightmares ends up  being a very real case of an encounter with a pair of disturbing entities. Then we have a ghost story from the American Civil War era. Despite taking place over 150 years ago, it was well documented by some local newspapers. It?s a very odd story that is sad and scary. Lynze has three stories this week! She shares a tale about a possible sighting of spear finger on a dark road. Then, she shares with us one of those bizarre stories about time and space not being quite right. Lastly, a military story that left some servicemen beyond scared.

Dan shares the story of the disappearance of the Grimes sisters. What makes this story suitable to be told here are a bunch of witnesses seeing these girls, after they vanished, in places they just could not be. Then we go to the Anderson Municipal Business Center in 2009. We hear details of what was supposedly seen and heard, plus an anonymous encounter story. 
Lynze has a more traditional haunted house story to start her half of the show. Her second story is WILD. It is the telling of an exorcism performed by a Yoruba priest!

Dan has a tale in Alabama and centers around a ghost that has been spotted by numerous truckers - and some other drivers as well - at night along Highway 5. Then we head to Pune, India to explore the story of the Pune Poltergeist. Lynze has a bizarre haunted house tale that might also include a mimic? You decide. Then we go to Mexico for a funny tale of a new little creature called a  duende followed by a much heavier, much darker tale.
