Forgiveness can be a loaded topic. It?s almost always tied to pain?either pain that we?ve caused or pain that we?ve experienced. This makes forgiveness difficult to process and difficult to act on. In this episode, Krystal and Shelby break down what biblical forgiveness is, why we are able to forgive even when it?s hard, and how to handle forgive difficult people. We pray that this episode reminds you of all that you?ve been forgiven of in Christ and encourages you to forgive others for big offenses and small ones.

Whether you feel behind on your to-do list or behind in life, there are always times when each of us wish that we were further along. But, how do we handle this emotion biblically? That is what we want to talk about today. Our encouragement is trust God with the gap between where you are and where you want to be?even if that gap never closes. And to obsess over faithfulness where you are instead of obsessing over the future. We talk in detail about this and the Scriptures that led us to these conclusions in today?s podcast!

Have you ever felt misunderstood? There can be something so frustrating when you do not feel heard or understood. In today?s conversation, Shelby and Krystal discuss when we as women are most tempted to feel misunderstood as well as the responses that often come out of feeling that way. We can sometimes dismiss the ?respectable? sins such as pride but Scripture is clear to point us toward away from pride and toward a humble posture. By walking in humility, we seek to honor the Lord and others in the way we process and respond to situations where we feel misunderstood.

In today's episode, we hear the story of an unlikely convert?Rosaria Butterfield. Rosaria was a tenured women?s studies Professor at Syracuse University who adopted a lesbian identity. In 1997, she began reading the Bible as research for a book she planned to write. After reading large portions of Scripture and being invited into the home of a pastor where her questions were welcomed and answered, Rosaria converted to Christianity in 1999. In this episode, she shares her story of coming to Christ and how that resulted in her losing almost everything?but gaining eternal life in Christ.

We may think that we can?t memorize Scripture because we have terrible memories or that we don?t have time. But in today?s episode, Glenna Marshall shows us what a few minutes a day can do to transform your walk with the Lord and the way you engage with His Word.
Glenna has seen the benefits of Scripture memory firsthand as she has incorporated it into pockets of time throughout her day. She recently wrote a book all about it titled, Memorizing Scripture: The Basics, Blessings, and Benefits of Meditating on God's Word. If you have struggled in the past to commit Scripture to memory, then you won?t want to miss this week?s episode!

There?s no doubt about it?we are busy people. We live in a world that values and prioritizes hustle and busyness. Sadly, this impacts our spiritual lives as we push aside the most important thing (being with God in His Word) and trade it for the seemingly urgent things in front of us. The truth is if we have time for Netflix and Instagram, we have time to spend with Jesus. The question is?how are we prioritizing our time and our lives to ensure that we make time for what matters most?
We hope this conversation reminds you that you are not alone in whatever season you are experiencing and that the God of the universe sees you in the midst of it all. It is during the busiest times that we need to cling to Him all the more.

When it comes to the church, we often talk about the hard and holy, but do we talk about the hope and holy? Natalie Runyon from Raised to Stay is on today?s podcast to talk about all of this and so much more! Natalie is a pastor?s kid who went on to serve on church staff for many years. She experienced what many of us have experienced: hurt, betrayal, pain, confusion, exhaustion. But instead of turning her back on the Church, she leaned in to see what the Lord had for her in the midst of the suffering. Natalie?s story is one of surrender and we know you will be encouraged by it.

In today?s episode, Bible teacher Elizabeth Woodson shows us some helpful places to start when it comes to Bible study! She talks about ways we can study in order to avoid major interpretation traps as well as the heart behind why we study. We shouldn?t be afraid of making mistakes in our study of Scripture. (Because we will make mistakes!) Instead, we should let it draw us closer to the Lord, relying on the Spirit to help us as we learn biblical truths. If you want to grow in your ability to rightly handle the Word of God, then you won?t want to miss this conversation!
