Hey there, Sprouts!
I recorded a special message for you this Ash Wednesday as we embark on the season of Lent.
It has been on my heart to urge you to focus all of your energy this Lent on the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. The US Bishops remind us that the ultimate goal of Lent is to LEARN TO LOVE LIKE CHRIST. And where can we study the love of Christ? In His Most Sacred Heart.
This Lent inside the Clubhouse we will be focusing on the Sacred Heart of Jesus through our study Cor Jesu. I urge you to consider joining us. It is our goal to not only learn about the Sacred Heart of Jesus, but through meditative prayer, truly ENCOUNTER the Sacred Heart.
Enjoy listening and take it to prayer.
Hoping to see you at our next live event.
In Christ Jesus, and His Most Sacred Heart,
Nancy

One of the most important things for us to remember about Jesus is that He was indeed God. He was and is infinitely more than a great teacher or prophet. He was God, and knowing this compels us to make a choice.
+ MONDAY: Jesus is the very WORD Who spoke the world into existence.
+ TUESDAY: During his public ministry, Jesus demonstrated His divine power by healing the sick, raising the dead and calming storms.
+ WEDNESDAY: Jesus also slowed authority to forgive sins, something that only God can do.
+ THURSDAY: Jesus taught with His own authority, expanding on the very Word of God in the Torah.
+ FRIDAY: Knowing that Jesus is God compels us to make a choice, just as those that lived at Jesus's time did.
Announcement: We have a beautiful, brand new JESUS TREE DEVOTION ready for your family this Lent. Check it out, and spend this Lent walking with Jesus all the way to the cross. + TUESDAY: It's the feast of St. Basil the Great!
+ WEDNESDAY: Its the feast of the Holy Name of Jesus!
+ THURSDAY: It's the feast of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton!
+FRIDAY: It's the feast of St. John Neuman (another American Saint!) and Saturday is the feast of Epiphany!
Prayer for Students
Lord our God,
in your wisdom and love
you surround us with the mysteries of the universe.
Send your Spirit upon these students
and fill them with your wisdom and blessings.
Grant that they may
devote themselves to their studies
and draw ever closer to you,
the source of all knowledge.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
R/. Amen.
