AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 3 EPISODE 3)October 8, 2002 | The WB
CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 3 EPISODE 3)Lauren Graham as Lorelai GilmoreAlexis Bledel as Rory GilmoreBRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 3 EPISODE 3) SYNOPSISRory’s Harvard application arrives in the mail. It’s a BIG DAY! Lane is over - she wants to join a band and she’s gonna use the Gilmore residence as her office.
At Luke’s, Luke sees Taylor taking pictures of the building. What’s he up to?!
At school, Paris and Rory have put together a panel to help seniors with applying for colleges. All of their answers are making Rory overthink what she’s put in her application. She meets up with her mom at Emily’s and is in full freak out mode!
The next day, people start showing up at Luke’s asking for drinks he doesn’t make. It becomes clear that these people are being sent by Taylor. He confronts Taylor who wants to open a soda shop in the space next to Luke’s, which he owns. Luke says absolutely not for the rest of time!
Lorelai got a phone number from Headmaster Charleston from a Harvard graduate so that Rory could pick their brain and help ease her application anxiety. They go over and he’s excited to talk to them. It’s going well until the topic of their other daughter comes up. She’s following her own path. And the family is incredibly weird. Rory goes to use the restroom and meets their other daughter, Carol, who is working multiple jobs. She’s very anti-doing what her parents want. This just helps Rory be thankful for her mom who she knows will be proud of her no matter what.
The Gilmore girls make it back in time for town meeting and it’s a heated one thanks to the soda shop situation. But when Luke finds out that Lorelai and Rory like the idea of the soda shop, he softens to the idea.
Afterwards, a guy named Dave Rogowski shows up and wants to talk to Lane about his band.
Dean finds Rory and he starts asking questions about what happens when she goes off to college. It doesn’t go great.
Jackson asks Lorelai if he can rent Rory’s room when she leaves.
Things are starting to get serious.
The next day - the Harvard guy calls and tells Rory to pack her bags. He’s gonna give her a big recommendation to the Harvard brass. But Rory and Lorelai aren’t thrilled. They decide to cancel all their plans and just hang out that day.

Another new Christmas movie review? Must be the holiday season!
ABOUT MR. & MRS. CHRISTMASSingle dad Taylor is inspired more than ever to give his two children the best Christmas in their new town. He leads the city's holiday event department, as new colleague Sophie supervises him.
AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR MR. & MRS. CHRISTMASOctober 18, 2026 | Hallmark
CAST & CREW OF MR. & MRS. CHRISTMASDirector: Peter Benson
Cast:
Brendan Penny as Taylor LewisPascale Hutton as Sophie ShawBRAN’S MOVIE SYNOPSISTaylor Lewis is a single dad who moves to a new town with his 2 kids for a new gig. He’s a holiday display expert and I guess this town of Pineway really needs one of those 2 weeks before Christmas. His son, Arlo, is pumped. His daughter, Jenna, is less than thrilled. Plus, she misses her mom who is living in England now.
He heads to city hall to unload some stuff and parks in Sophie Shaw’s spot since it’ll only be a minute. Naturally, she shows up and isn’t thrilled he’s in her spot. To make matters worse, he locked the keys in his truck so she has to park 4 blocks away and is late for her meeting.
When she finally shows up, she finds out that her friend Paul, who is in charge of community engagement, is going to be leaving after the festive market and Christmas parade, which he’s bringing back this year after a hiatus. That’s actually why they brought Taylor in. Sophie decides she wants to throw her hat in the ring for that position even though they’ll probably hire someone with community engagement experience. She’s just an accountant.
Taylor gets to decorating and it’s off to a rocky start when his employee, Justin, accidentally crushes Paul’s grandpa’s letters to Santa box. I’m sure it’ll be fine.
Back at home, he begins to notice that Jenna is really struggling with all the change. The magic just isn’t there.
So the next day, he decides to put together Operation Bring Back Christmas Magic. He’ll work on the name later.
At work, Paul brings in Sophie to oversee the Festive Market decorating process so that she can tell everyone she helped plan it and hopefully land her that job she wants!
She meets his kids and Sophie and Taylor start hanging out more and he opens up about how hard the adjustment has been and she gives some advice on what it’s like to raise a teenage daughter. She advises him to try to find the fun - what a teenage girl might like.
But he may have overcorrected. Everyone shows up and is like this market sucks. Instead of cocoa, we have bubble tea. Instead of carolers, we have a DJ. And the town hates it! And Jenna isn’t a fan either. It’s just a little off.
The next day, Sophie and Taylor put their heads together and figure out a way to course correct - keep some of the stuff for the teens but bring back the traditional stuff. And make it even bigger, extending the festival to the carnival grounds. All leading up to the Mr. and Mrs. Christmas parade. Paul agrees as long as Sophie is in charge, which Taylor thinks is a great idea.
They get to work on...not the gig but just hanging out together as 2 functioning adults. And she helps him learn that he doesn’t always have to fix things.
He does not learn the lesson. Because at the opening of the festival, he brings in a big artist named Clover and has Clover call Jenna out by name and put a spotlight on her. It does not go well. She runs off and he follows.
To make matters worse - Clover sent him way over budget. Sophie isn’t thrilled. They’re gonna have to cancel the parade.
But he pitches that he and Sophie be Mr. and Mrs. Claus and do the parade anyway to surprise everyone. And it works. Jenna loves it and gives him a big hug. And Sophie gets her promotion.
Taylor finds Sophie under the mistletoe and they kiss.

ABOUT HOLIDAY TOUCHDOWN: A BEARS LOVE STORYA Chicago firefighter seeks media coverage for his grandmother’s 500th Bears game attendance. When a reporter is assigned to the story, romance develops between them.
AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR HOLIDAY TOUCHDOWN: A BEARS LOVE STORYOctober 17, 2026 | Hallmark
CAST & CREW OF HOLIDAY TOUCHDOWN: A BEARS LOVE STORYDirector: Dustin Rikert
Writers: Christine Garver, Stephanie Jackson, Marcy Holland
Cast:
Lyndsy Fonseca as Avery ClarkRobert Buckley as Matt DonnellyBRAN’S MOVIE SYNOPSISIt’s Dec 19, 1971 and a woman named Darlene walks up to a stadium with a note in her hand and is greeted by a fella named Bernie. These two lovebirds are on a blind date to a Bears game! They’re having a great time, they hold hands. DA BEARS!
Fast forward to the present and we see our favorite Touchdown Santa ringing a bell. Avery gives him some money and heads into a bar to see her mom. She’s visiting her in Chicago from New York. She proceeds to sit at the bar and read a book while the Bears game is going on. A fella named Matt walks up and can’t believe she’s reading and can’t believe she doesn’t like football! They flirt, it’s fun.
She goes in for a meeting at the Chicago Herald. She’s a freelance reporter and they want her to do a story while she’s here. The bad news - it’s a sports story. They point her in the direction of a guy named Matt who works at a fire station. His grandma is the subject of a story - 500 Bears games! She marches down to the station and Matt is the dude from the bar. He’s like I don’t think you’re the right person for this gig cuz you don’t like sports. She’s like I’m all you got. So off they go to meet Grandma and the Grandma Bears. She reluctantly agrees to an interview but only if he helps out with the Bears Care charity. Obviously he says yes. And, call me crazy, but I think that may be the excuse that Darlene & Matt need in order to hang out!
It doesn’t take long for these 2 lovebirds to realize what Gran is up to.
Gran shares her story. She is the woman at the beginning of the story. The date was amazing and it started her love of going to Bears games. There’s more to the story but we’ll get to it.
Avery and Matt end up going for a boat ride and end up ALMOST kissing but are interrupted when they hear Gran is singing karaoke.
They end up going to a party and she gives him a kiss on the cheek under the mistletoe thanks to Gran pushing for a kiss!
As if things weren’t complicated enough, there’s a potential full time gig available at the Herald. Does she want to move to Chicago or does she want to keep doing freelance?
Maybe a cornhole tournament will help her decide! Avery & her stepdad win!
Matt is blown away when he finds out that Avery is getting her Gran the fan of the year award.
She goes to interview Darlene more and finds out that Bernie stood by her when she was diagnosed with breast cancer and encouraged her to keep fighting and they make it to 500 games. And now she wants to make it to game #500 for him.
The story is released and it’s a hit. And Matt is quickly reminded that Avery is leaving.
It’s time for game #500 and Gran is nowhere to be found. Turns out….she’s fine. She’s just gonna watch the game with a neighbor.
We gotta get her to the game though cuz FAN OF THE YEAR. IT’S FIRETRUCK TIME!
They surprise her and she meets various Bears legends. Caleb Wilson even shouts her out!
After the game, she is officially offered the job. She goes to find Matt who is setting up a grand gesture to shoot his shot. She says she’s staying and they kiss big ones!

They get home and Lexi gets straight to work. She’s an event planner and things are serious. Nothing a little dance party with her mom and daughter, Piper, can’t fix. All Piper really wants for Christmas is to hit the slopes, but it’s too expensive. Naturally, June puts in a call to her old pal, Dan. They hatch a deal - they can all come to the ski resort if Lexi plans the resort Christmas party. She doesn’t want to say yes but Piper overhears and you can’t say no to Piper.
When they get there, she meets the ski instructor, Ridge. Ridge immediately clocks her as someone who doesn’t ski and for some reason, she finds that very offensive. But they gotta get over it quick cuz there’s a party to plan but they don’t quite agree on a vision yet. Lexi and Ridge see Dan and June talking and immediately decide they’re going to set them up.

CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 3 EPISODE 2)Lauren Graham as Lorelai GilmoreAlexis Bledel as Rory GilmoreBRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 3 EPISODE 2) SYNOPSISIt’s Friday night dinner and Lorelai is clearly annoyed to be there. Rory tries to facilitate a conversation and it doesn’t go well.
The next day, they’re at Luke’s. Jess’ new boo thang walks in and they kiss hard again.
Apparently there’s a mouse at the inn. Kirk shows up and is surprisingly not the exterminator. Instead, he asks Lorelai out for dinner in 2 weeks.
It’s time for the first day of senior year. Rory invites her mom to see her speech after school as she’s sworn into student government and tells her that Emily is going to be there. Afterwards, Emily asks Lorelai if they can get lunch just the two of them.
The next day, a girl named Francine pulls Rory into the bathroom and tells her that Paris isn’t actually in charge. She’s the senior class president and the leader of the Puffs. She’s going to do what she wants, which starts with higher hemlines, OR ELSE!
Emily shows up at Luke’s for lunch. She insists there’s no hidden agenda. Then immediately goes right into how she called Christopher and she knows that he’s not in love with that woman and she implores Lorelai to call him and tell him that she wants him.
At the next student body government meeting, Rory pushes for the hemline thing that Francine wants. Paris goes for it.
It’s time for Friday dinner and the energy between Emily and her new maid is weird. Apparently Richard gave Emily a hard time about not being able to keep a maid so she’s committed. Christopher ends up showing up. He’s like you won’t return my phone calls and I knew you’d be there. It turns into a big thing where Rory tells him that he just needs to go and be someone else’s dad. Emily hears all of this go on and tells Christopher it’s time for him to go.
When they get back into town, Kirk stops Lorelai to ask if she’s allergic to tuna. She tells him that she can’t go out to dinner with him. While Rory is in Dosey’s, Jess is there. They finally talk. She asks him if anything interesting happened this weekend. He says her name is Shane. She’s like well it threw me off! He’s like well you didn’t reach out all summer. And you’re still with Dean.

It’s Tuesday which means there’s a new Hallmark movie to review!
ABOUT THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEENEverly Stone is very firmly anti-Halloween. That is, until she is visited by three friendly yet spooky spirits who help her rediscover her true self and see what she’s been missing all along.
AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEENOctober 10, 2026 | Hallmark
CAST & CREW OF THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEENWriter: Nicole Baxter
Cast:
Meghan Ory as Everly StoneKevin McGarry as Beau MadisonBRAN’S MOVIE SYNOPSISWe meet Everly Stone. She creates wedding dresses and is very ANTI Halloween! Her employee is like we should make Halloween costumes too! Everly is like NO!!! Hot firefighter Beau comes in for a fitting and invites her to the Halloween festival but she’s not having it.
When she gets home, lights are flickering. Leaves are flying. And she wakes up in the middle of the night to some thuds downstairs. When she gets down there, she sees her dead mentor, Anna. SHE’S BEING HAUNTED! She tells her she’s being Christmas Carol’d - 3 ghosts. But she tells her to heed the warnings or she’ll end up like her - miserable and alone.
Up first is the ghost of Halloween past. He takes her to 30 years ago. We’re at a Halloween party. Little Everly is dressed up like a witch with little Beau dressed up like a firefighter. They’re having the best time. Turns out she hasn’t always been a Halloween humbug. We then go back to 20 years in the past. Everly and Beau are at college together. He’s the star quarterback with lots of women interested in him, and she has a boyfriend who drives a big truck and honks at her when it’s time to go. And she left before she could hear him say that she’s settling.
Cut to 10 years in the past. Another Halloween party. She’s still with Rex who SUCKS and Beau is clearly not a fan. Beau is actually her dad’s successor down at the fire station. During the party, she finds ol’ Rex kissing another woman. EVERYONE SEES IT! Her younger self runs out but she gets to see that Beau confronts Rex and tells him that he never deserved her!
And just like that, she’s back in her bed. She wakes up to see her cat is on the roof, so naturally she calls Beau. He comes and they chat and apologize for how they left things earlier.
The ghost of Halloween present shows up and she’s a cool skateboarder. She shows her Beau driving up to Everly’s business looking all sad, her employee’s boyfriend complaining about Everly not valuing her like she should - he tells him that if nothing changes in 6 months, she’ll leave. She then sees another woman talk to Beau, telling him he’s such a good guy. If she’s not careful, she might lose him!
When she comes back, she rushes to the firehouse but there seems to be an emergency, so not the right time.
When she gets back home, the ghost of Halloween yet to come is there and his name is Grant and he’s the hottest. She touches his cheek and they show up 10 years in the future. She sees Beau with a kid at a pumpkin patch. She’s nowhere to be found. She’s real sad. The ghost takes her to where she’s at in the future - she sees her employee is now running her own business making Halloween costumes and she’s engaged. Apparently, she took all of Everly’s clients and we see that Everly’s shop is closed. We see that Everly is fully alone.
She wakes up and it’s Halloween day! She hasn’t missed it! She shows up at work, shows her employee some love, and tries to tell Beau how she feels and totally botches it.
After going home to be sad, she shows up at the party, gives her employee a raise, and tells Beau how she feels and they finally kiss! And they dance the night away. Happy Halloween.

Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, the Fantastic Four must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic herald, the Silver Surfer.
AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPSJuly 25, 2025 | Theaters
CAST & CREW OF THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPSPedro Pascal as Reed Richards
Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm
Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm
Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm
The movie kicks off on Earth-828 in 1964, where the world is celebrating four years of the Fantastic Four. Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm became superheroes after being exposed to radiation during a space mission, and since then, they’ve become celebrities while also helping change the world.
Things get even more exciting when Reed and Sue announce that they’re expecting a baby. The whole world becomes fascinated with the idea of a baby with superpowers.
But then the Silver Surfer arrives on Earth with some very bad news: Earth has been chosen for destruction by Galactus, a giant cosmic being who literally eats planets. Reed investigates the destruction of other planets and realizes the Silver Surfer is telling the truth. The team heads back into space to try to stop Galactus before he reaches Earth.
The team is captured and brought face-to-face with Galactus. he senses something different about Reed and Sue’s unborn child, Franklin, so he offers them a deal: give him the baby, and he’ll spare Earth.
Obviously, the Fantastic Four say yes, right? RIGHT? They say no.
The team escapes & During their trip back to Earth, Sue gives birth to Franklin.
A month later, the Fantastic Four return to Earth, and Reed reveals everything during a press conference and is shocked people are upset.
Johnny starts figuring out the Silver Surfer’s language using their previous interactions and transmissions Reed intercepted from deep space.
As Galactus gets closer and the protests against the Fantastic Four continue to grow, Sue takes Franklin to meet with the protesters herself. She makes it clear that they aren’t going to sacrifice their son, but they also aren’t going to give up on everyone else. People are like ok ok.
Reed then comes up with a crazy plan: instead of fighting Galactus head-on, they’ll teleport the entire Earth somewhere else. Using technology he’s been developing.
Just as the plan is underway, the Silver Surfer returns and starts destroying the teleportation bridges. Johnny manages to stop her from destroying the final bridge in Times Square and reveals what he has learned. But she still refuses to help them.
With time running out, the team decides to use Franklin as bait to lure Galactus toward the final teleportation bridge.
Galactus eventually arrives and makes his way through New York, eventually capturing Franklin before the team can spring their trap. Sue uses everything she has to hold Galactus back with her force field while Reed manages to rescue Franklin.
Johnny then tries to sacrifice himself, using his powers to give Galactus the final push into the portal. But before he can, Shalla-Bal returns.
She pushes Galactus through the portal herself.
The portal closes behind them, but Sue has used so much of her power that she dies. Just when it looks like the Fantastic Four has lost her, Franklin uses his own powers to bring his mother back to life.
The movie ends with the Fantastic Four heading off on another mission as the world celebrates their fifth anniversary.
Then we get a mid-credits scene set four years later. Sue is reading to Franklin at home when she gets up to grab another book. When she returns, Franklin is sitting with a mysterious man wearing a green cloak and holding a metal mask.
And yeah… that’s probably important.

ABOUT DO YOU FEAR WHAT I FEARClaire's fresh start in the city turns chilling when eerie holiday decorations begin to appear in her apartment, each one a message from someone who knows her too well. Who is the dangerous "Secret Santa" who's watching her?
AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR DO YOU FEAR WHAT I FEARDecember 4, 2025 | Lifetime
CAST & CREW OF DO YOU FEAR WHAT I FEARDirector: Peter Sullivan
Writers: Adam Rockoff, Jeffrey Schenck, Peter Sullivan
Cast:
Ciara Hanna as ClaireJosh Henderson as SteveJustin Cole as MilesMichael Silberblatt as JesseBRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSISThe movie starts like your typical Christmas movie. Claire, who works in marketing, and Jesse, the town handyman, are decorating the town together and seem like they're setting us up for a cute little Christmas romance. Except Claire just landed a big job in New York and is leaving her hometown of Pine Hollow for the big city.
Her college friend Sloane, who helped get her the job, shows her around NYC. The company hooks Claire up with an absolutely unreal apartment, which immediately makes Jesse insecure. He didn't want to break up, and he doesn't really understand why Claire has to move away.
A neighbor named Miles helps Claire with her Wi-Fi and comes into her apartment to check the modem. He lives next door, and seems like he could be a sketchy ball.
Claire keeps hearing random noises.
Meanwhile, we meet Steve from the end of the hall, who is much suaver than Miles and asks Claire out on a date.
The date goes well, and Claire listens to smooth jazz while making pasta. She hears something in the hallway, but it turns out to just be someone moving into the apartment next door. She asks the doorman about it, and he basically laughs in her face.
The next morning, Claire notices a snow globe from her hometown sitting out on the mantel. She could have sworn she put it away. Then she finds a card with "DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE?" written on the back.
Claire's voice assistant, Elmer, normally plays nothing but smooth jazz. But then it gets hacked and starts playing Christmas music. Claire and Steve make out, and Elmer refuses to play smooth jazz while they're smooching which makes Claire real mad.
Then she comes home the next day and her ENTIRE HOUSE IS DECORATED, some of it nice, but most of it creepy.
Claire immediately calls the police. Everyone is just as concerned as Claire. Steve and Sloane both offer Claire a place to stay.
Miles turns out to be gay, which pretty much eliminates him as a potential romantic stalker, but does NOT eliminate him as a potential Christmas KILLER. Claire de-decorates her apartment and changes all of her locks.
Unfortunately, that doesn't stop the messages.
Claire asks the maintenance guy for help, and honestly, he's also incredibly creepy. He tells her to get Miles to set up surveillance cameras in her apartment. Miles installs a fire alarm camera, and Claire pretends she's going out of town so they can catch the intruder in the act.
Miles and Claire stay up watching the camera and eventually catch the intruder red-handed, which they do...well, kinda. They only see what hat he's wearing.
Claire finds a hat in Steve's apartment that she recognizes from the surveillance footage and leaves very scared and he's like wtf? She goes back to the detectives and they search Steve's apartment, find some evidence, and things are NOT looking good for our guy.
Claire decides to go back through the surveillance footage when she finds out that Steve is actually cleared by a solid alibi. She notices a reflection in the mirror in the footage.
IT'S THE HANDYMAN FROM HER HOMETOWN. JESSE!!!!
Jesse shows up at Claire's apartment and Claire starts throwing EVERYTHING she can find at him. Unfortunately, Jesse manages to grab her and drag her into his secret hideout.
He explains that he thought if Claire believed the city was dangerous enough, she would move back home and be with him. Claire hits him with a wrench and screams!
One week later, Claire is thriving. Everyone at work thinks she's incredible at her new job. She starts dating Steve and tells him she's finally home with him.

CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 3 EPISODE 1)Lauren Graham as Lorelai GilmoreAlexis Bledel as Rory GilmoreBRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 3 EPISODE 1) SYNOPSISLorelai wakes up to the sounds of a TONNNN of alarm clocks. She yells down "you are hilarious!" When she comes down, Luke is down there making breakfast. Why is he at her house making breakfast? THEY KISS! AND SHE'S PREGNANT WITH TWINS! Except womp womp it's a dream. She wakes up and immediately grabs the phone to call Rory and asks her to please come home. She tells her all about her dream. Rory is like oh clearly you're in love with him and want to have his babies. Lorelai is like nope try again. Rory is like ok maybe you're upset about dad and the fact that he's having a baby with another woman. They're talking on the phone because Rory is still in DC but she comes home on Friday. She wakes up and we see that Dean has written her a ton of letters. But she's not writing Dean a letter, she's writing Jess!
Later, Lorelai is over at Sookie & Jackson's. She wants to paint the house but Jackson isn't having it.
Taylor is in a wheelchair thanks to someone leaving a banana on his front porch. The town is busy decorating for the end of summer madness festival and Taylor is PUMPED!!!! Lorelai walks by Luke's and just looks at him and then keeps walking.
Back in DC, we meet a dude named Jamie who is all chummy with Rory & Paris. He wants to get dinner with Paris to "prep" for the debate. Rory is like he just asked you out on a date! Paris wasn't aware and starts freaking out!!!
Meanwhile at the inn, Kirk is there trying to sell his hay skincare product. Lorelai gets a call from her mom and she's upset that Lorelai didn't call her to welcome them home from the vineyard.
Rory is on the phone with Dean. He's very excited to see her. She has to hang up cuz Paris is FREAKING out. After she leaves, Rory gets right back to writing Jess a letter.
So Lorelai hasn't told her parents about Christopher and Emily really wants him to come to dinner.
She goes to pick up Rory from the airport and it's big excitement! She tells her that she got her out of Friday night dinner so that she can hang out with Dean. She doesn't seem thrilled for some reason.
Rory comes home and immediately changes into a dress for some reason. When they make it to the summer festival, she sees Jess making out with a girl and she gets a bit upset much to Lorelai's surprise. Rory tells her about the kiss. Lorelai encourages her to figure out what the heck she wants because she's now officially treating Dean like dirt. Naturally, Dean walks up and Rory kisses him.
Lorelai makes it to her parents' and is struggling to tell them about Christopher. She finally does and it doesn't go well and leads to Emily & Richard arguing and Lorelai ducks out.
She makes it back to Stars Hollow and goes to talk to Luke. Apparently they're actually still mad at each other. That doesn't stop her from opening up to him about Christopher. He slides her down a donut.
When Lorelai gets home, Rory is already there. They make up and talk. She wants to stay with Dean.

It's Marvel Monday and the antiheroes assemble!
ABOUT THUNDERBOLTS*After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap, an unconventional team of antiheroes must go on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.
AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR THUNDERBOLTS*May 2, 2025 | Theatrical Release
CAST & CREW OF THUNDERBOLTS*Director: Jake Schreier
Writers: Eric Pearson, Joanna Calo, Kurt Busiek
Cast:
Florence Pugh as Yelena BelovaSebastian Stan as Bucky BarnesJulia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de FontaineLewis Pullman as Robert ReynoldsDavid Harbour as Alexei ShostakovWyatt Russell as John WalkerHannah John-Kamen as Ava StarrBRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSISThings kick off with Yelena blowing up a laboratory for CIA director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Why? Valentina is trying to erase any evidence connecting her to the O.X.E. Group and its mysterious "Project Sentry."
With Valentina facing impeachment, she decides the best way to clean up her mess is to send four of her former operatives—Yelena, John Walker, Ava Starr, and Antonia Dreykov—to a secret O.X.E. facility with one very simple instruction: kill each other.
Naturally, things don't go according to plan.
Ava kills Antonia, but then a random dude named Bob shows up and he doesn't seem to know how he got there. The group quickly realizes they weren't sent there to complete a mission—they were sent there to be killed alongside the evidence of Valentina's crimes. So they decide to work together. After coming into contact with Bob, Yelena and Walker also experience disturbing visions of some of their worst memories.
Valentina learns the group survived and discovers that Bob was actually a presumed-dead volunteer from the Sentry experiments. When she arrives at the facility, Bob draws enemy fire so Yelena, Walker, and Ava can escape. The problem is that Bob is apparently bulletproof, can fly, and has absolutely no idea what is happening to him.
Bob is eventually captured and taken to Manhattan where Valentina plans to introduce Bob to the public as a new superpowered hero, hoping the PR stunt will save her from impeachment.
Yelena's father figure Alexei overheard Valentina's plan while working as a freelance chauffeur and comes to rescue her. John Walker sarcastically gives the group a name—the Thunderbolts—inspired by Yelena's childhood soccer team.
Things get even messier when Congressman Bucky Barnes learns what's happened. With the help of Valentina's assistant Mel, who suspects Valentina might be the bad guy, Bucky captures the Thunderbolts and plans to have them testify during Valentina's impeachment proceedings. But after learning what happened to Bob, the group decides their new priority is getting into the Watchtower and finding him.
They discover that Valentina has convinced Bob to become a superhero called Sentry. Unfortunately, Sentry is basically unstoppable. He easily takes down the Thunderbolts, but refuses to kill them when Valentina orders him to, believing they're not actually a threat. Then Bob starts to lose control.
As his power grows, Bob turns against Valentina. Mel uses a failsafe kill switch to incapacitate him, but instead of solving the problem, it unleashes something much, much worse: the Void.
The Void is Bob's destructive alter ego, born from his depression, insecurities, trauma, and the effects of the Sentry procedure. And now it's taking over New York City, covering the city in darkness and trapping people inside visions of their own worst memories.
The Thunderbolts realize that the only way to stop the Void is to reach Bob from the inside, so Yelena enters the darkness and is forced to confront her own traumatic past as a Black Widow. Eventually, she finds Bob hiding in a recreation of his childhood bedroom.
The rest of the Thunderbolts join her, and together they make their way through Bob's memories. They find the Void, but it absolutely wrecks them.
Bob tries to fight back, but the Void is threatening to completely consume him. That's when the Thunderbolts do the one thing that no one else has been able to do: they remind Bob that he's not alone. They hug him, tell him they believe in him, and somehow manage to give him the strength to take control of the Void.
The darkness disappears, New York is saved, and everyone gets their memories back.
With the Void defeated, the Thunderbolts are ready to finally take Valentina down. But Valentina has one more trick up her sleeve. She holds a press conference and announces that the Thunderbolts are actually the NEW AVENGERS, taking credit for everything they just accomplished.
The team reluctantly goes along with it, but Yelena makes sure Valentina knows exactly where they stand.
"We own you now."
And honestly? She isn't wrong.

After a mission in Mexico, Sam and the newly minted Falcon, Joaquin Torres, recover stolen government tech. Joaquin is thrilled to be taking on the Falcon mantle, while Sam is a little more hesitant about putting him in harm's way. After all, neither of them has actual superpowers.
Sam and Joaquin soon find themselves invited to a White House summit with President Ross. Ross wants to prevent a global arms race and proposes an international treaty. Seems pretty straightforward, right? Of course not.
During the summit, several men — including super soldier Isaiah Bradley — suddenly open fire on Ross and other world leaders. The attackers are captured, but none of them have any idea why they did it.
Joaquin tracks a phone call back to Camp Echo One, a secret government facility in West Virginia. There, they discover Dr. Samuel Sterns, a scientist who has been imprisoned by Ross for years. Sterns gained enhanced intelligence after being exposed to Bruce Banner's blood during the Abomination's rampage in Harlem, and he's been using his genius — along with "Mr. Blue" and some mind-control technology — to manipulate people.
As they race to stop Sterns, they discover his real goal: destroy Ross' reputation by turning the president's own secrets against him. And Ross has plenty of secrets. He's dying from heart failure and has been taking pills created by Sterns to keep himself alive. Ross refused to release Sterns because he needed those pills, which gave Sterns a pretty big reason to want revenge. Turns out the pills he's been giving Ross have been pumping gamma radiation into his body.
Sterns eventually turns himself over to Sam, but his arrest and his connection to Ross are revealed publicly during a press conference. Ross completely loses control and transforms into the Red Hulk, destroying part of the White House in the process.
Sam manages to fight Ross long enough to get through to him. Ross finally comes back to himself.
Isaiah Bradley is officially exonerated and Ross resigns before voluntarily being imprisoned.
And just when you thought everything was wrapped up nicely, Sterns has one last warning for Sam: something is coming from other worlds.

Lori Loughlin as JenniferSarah Strange as DaniKevin O'Grady as FrankSteve Bacic as JasonBRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSISWe're at a garage sale and Jennifer and Dani are shopping around looking for fun stuff for their scarecrow. Jennifer finds a locket in a jacket pocket. Classic Jennifer.
Jennifer is a part of a book club that does murder mystery parties for charity and they're getting ready to do a Lizzie Borden show. The cast gets into a bit of an argument when it comes to showcasing both sides of the case. THEN, the book that they're using as a historical artifact goes missing! While looking for the book, Jennifer comes across a dead body! It's Isaac Simmons - he was one of the guys really upset about showing both sides of the case. I'll be honest - there's one guy who is an obvious suspect - the guy who runs this inn. He has keys to all the rooms and is just real awkward. Luckily, Detective Frank was already there because he showed up with Jennifer to be a part of the murder mystery. So he immediately begins pulling everyone in for questioning. Jennifer is helping Isaac's stepdaughter, Sierra, when she sees that she has the missing book. UH OH! She claims she has NO IDEA how it got there!
Turns out, only Carol's prints are on the book. Who is Carol? She's the one who was leading the murder mystery and brought the book to the party.
In a crazy turn of events, the murder mystery party is still a go! And everyone is still in as long as Detective Frank is out.
Bad news though - Jennifer gets hit over the head by someone cuz she keeps snooping around! Everyone is so incredibly suspicious and so down to continue with the play.
So, they decide to go forward with it but keep an eye on all the suspects. What we don't know is that Jennifer looked in the closet yesterday and there were 3 door knobs, now there's only 2. That means it could only be one person - the guy who runs the inn! He admits it really easily. They all celebrate.

It's Marvel Monday and the multiverse just got a lot more chaotic!
ABOUT DEADPOOL & WOLVERINEDeadpool is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction.
AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR DEADPOOL & WOLVERINEJuly 26, 2024 | Theatrical Release
CAST & CREW OF DEADPOOL & WOLVERINEDirector: Shawn Levy
Writers: Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick
Cast:
Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/DeadpoolHugh Jackman as Logan/WolverineEmma CorrinBRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSISAlright, here's what you need to know. In 2018, Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, used a time-travel device to go back and prevent the death of his girlfriend, Vanessa.
He eventually makes his way to the Sacred Timeline, hoping to join the Avengers. Unfortunately for Wade, Happy Hogan turns him down, so he heads back to his own universe.
Six years later, things aren't exactly going great. Wade and Vanessa have broken up, he's retired the Deadpool suit, and he's now selling used cars alongside his friend and former teammate Peter.
During his birthday party, Wade is suddenly taken by the Time Variance Authority - something that obviously needs to exist now - and brought before Mr. Paradox. Paradox explains that the TVA exists outside of time and monitors the Sacred Timeline and the larger multiverse. He offers Wade a chance to leave his universe behind and become part of the Sacred Timeline, but there's a catch: Wade's universe is slowly dying because its "anchor being," Logan, is dead.
Paradox plans to speed up the process with a device called the Time Ripper. Wade isn't exactly thrilled with that plan because he's quite fond of his universe, so he steals Paradox's device that allows him to travel to Logan's grave, hoping he can somehow bring him back to life, Evanescence style. When that doesn't work, Wade starts jumping across the multiverse looking for a different version of Logan, aka Wolverine, who can take Logan's place in his universe.
Eventually, Wade brings one back to the TVA, but Paradox isn't impressed. This Logan is apparently the worst Wolverine in the entire multiverse, and Paradox explains that an anchor being can't simply be replaced. Wade also realizes that Paradox is doing all of this without the approval of his bosses, so Paradox sends Wade and Logan to the Void.
Wade convinces Logan that the TVA might be able to change his past, giving the two of them a reason to work together and escape the Void. Instead, they are captured alongside Johnny Storm, who looks a whole lot like Captain America, and brought before Cassandra Nova, the powerful and extremely unhinged twin sister of Charles Xavier.
Cassandra has made a deal with the TVA to rule the Void, and she quickly proves that she's not someone Wade wants to mess with. She kills Johnny and leaves Wade and Logan to be eaten by a giant smoke creature, but the two manage to escape.
After meeting a couple of Deadpool variants, including Nicepool and Dogpool, Wade and Logan are pointed toward a resistance group fighting against Cassandra. They find this group and Deadpool proposes an alliance and they attack Cassandra. They fight real good but Cassandra ultimately heals herself and sends Wade and Logan back to Earth-10005.
Cassandra learns about the Time Ripper and now wants to use it to destroy every timeline and leave nothing behind except the Void, cuz she's the bad guy in a Marvel movie.
Paradox finally reveals that the Time Ripper can be destroyed, but doing so would require one person to disrupt its power source and sacrifice themselves. Wade and Logan refuse to let the other make that sacrifice, so they do it together. The two of them manage to destroy the Time Ripper, killing Cassandra in the process, and survive via the power of friendship.
Paradox is arrested and Earth-10005 is saved. Logan is allowed to stay in Wade's universe. Wade is reunited with his friends and Logan encourages Wade to finally make things right with Vanessa.

Thirty years later, the planet is basically out of air, water, and sunlight, and the Kree have given Carol a pretty BA new nickname: the Annihilator.
Kree leader Dar-Benn discovers one of two powerful Quantum Bands and uses it to rip open a jump point through space. Unfortunately, this starts messing with the entire network of jump points across the universe. When Carol investigates one of them at the same time that Monica Rambeau investigates another, the two somehow get tangled up with a kid named Kamala Khan (but we can call her Ms. Marvel), who happens to possess the other Quantum Band. Whenever any of the three uses their powers at the same time, they switch places. Naturally, this makes fighting bad guys considerably more complicated.
After a chaotic encounter destroys Kamala's house, the three eventually figure out what's happening and team up. Kamala is PUMPED gives their new trio a very on-the-nose name: the Marvels.
The Marvels discover that Dar-Benn is tearing open jump points to steal resources from other planets and is putting the universe in serious danger in the process. And because Dar-Benn blames Carol for everything, she's targeting planets that are important to Carol.
The Marvels attempt to stop her and Dar-Benn is destroyed when trying to use the bands but the resulting energy creates a tear between realities. Kamala and Carol use their combined powers to help Monica close the tear, but Monica ends up stranded on the other side.

AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 20)May 7, 2002 | The WB
CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 20)Lauren Graham as Lorelai GilmoreAlexis Bledel as Rory GilmoreBRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 20) SYNOPSISLorelai and Rory show up at the diner but Luke is nowhere to be found. They head to the Hungry Diner. The type of diner that Michel goes to.
Lorelai heads to her parents' house and finds out that Richard started his own company - it's an insurance consulting firm. He comes out of his office mad that his assistant from the old firm turned down Richard's offer to join his company. He's not sure what to do. He's like maybe I should just shut it down. Lorelai is like whoa that seems premature. Just hire a new assistant. Lorelai agrees to help him get his office set up and find a new assistant.
Dean gets home and Rory hands him a letter outlining exactly what happened. He's not thrilled but is relieved to hear that Jess left town and invites her in for dinner...not the reaction Rory was expecting. When she tells her mom, she's like he loves you, just be happy.
She goes to Richard's office and it's a mess. She takes the first call and realizes that he needs pens, so off to the office store they go.
Rory is hanging out with Lane and they see a new music store is opening up. Lane comes back when it's open and gravitates towards the drums, something her mom would NEVER approve of.
Richard is getting pretty comfortable having Lorelai around as his assistant so when they start interviewing perfectly capable candidates, no one can live up to Lorelai. She's like I can't do this - I have a job. This hurts his feelings and he tells her to scram.
Rory is getting annoyed that everyone in town blames the crash on Jess, giving her a pass.
It's time for an office opening party for Richard. Lorelai shows up and she sees that he finally hired someone. They talk business and Lorelai seems proud of her dad. Emily sees the cast and freaks out. Lorelai blames Jess and Emily pulls Lorelai out into the hallway and they argue. Lorelai says she gets to hate Jess for the rest of her life. They agree to disagree.
Lane convinces the music store owner to let her practice there a couple nights a week.
Rory is walking around town and sees that Luke is back. She goes in to drink some coffee. They talk about Jess and she tells Luke that it wasn't his fault.

ABOUT HAUNTED HARMONY MYSTERIES: PRELUDE TO A WEDDINGWhen Gethsemane is invited to play at a wedding, she and Eamon find themselves involved in the death of a member of the bridal party.
AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR HAUNTED HARMONY MYSTERIES: PRELUDE TO A WEDDINGSeptember 5, 2026 | Hallmark
CAST & CREW OF HAUNTED HARMONY MYSTERIES: PRELUDE TO A WEDDINGWriters: Nick Hopkins, Tim James, Kraig Wenman
Cast:
Tamera Mowry-Housley as GethsemaneRisteard Cooper as EamonMarco Grazzini as GriffBRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSISThe movie starts with this dude walking around, looking super stressed out. He comes up to a lighthouse and climbs to the top. He turns around and this dude pushes him off the top. This old guy goes to check on him as another guy begins to walk up.
36 hours earlier, Gethsemane is playing the piano at the school when Griff comes in. He's like I'm going to a wedding and the violinist backed out. Maybe you could come to fill in, be my date, do some dancing. She's in!
The groom is Ty and the bride is Sunny. Griff knows Ty - he was his first friend after the divorce. Of course it's not just the 2 of them - Eamon the ghost is also there.
The hotel has apparently been under renovation for a while and Gethsemane finds a piano to play with Eamon.
The wedding party is all there except for Franky, who shows up late, already intoxicated. Turns out everyone in the wedding party hates this dude. There are accusations of him owing money and he's got a lot of explaining to do.
The next morning, Gethsemane is walking around trying to get past her writer's block when she and Eamon come across the dead body of Frankie. Just then, the old dude that we saw walks through Gethsemane. Turns out he's a ghost! He says he's the last person to see this dude alive. His name is Colin. He says he saw someone run off after Frankie fell - they were wearing a long hooded jacket and were carrying something that looked like a necklace. Colin says they need to figure out who did this or else his son is gonna end up getting blamed for it. Apparently, the lighthouse belongs to the hotel which was owned by Colin and now is owned by his son, Daniel. The lighthouse railing needs to be replaced, so if they don't think it was a murder, he'll be held liable. Of course, Inspector O'Reilly shows up.
Apparently Frankie is a financial advisor but he's got a bunch of shady doings. The inspector is a bit suspicious of the groom. They have security footage of them in an argument the night he died and Frankie trying to give him this chain. He's like I'm gonna go ahead and wait for my lawyer. Apparently Frankie and the groom were on a boat one night when their best friend died and Frankie had his necklace.
Turns out, one of the people at the wedding was in love with that dude and overheard Frankie and the groom arguing. So she tells Frankie to meet her at the lighthouse and down he goes.
She finds Gethsemane in her room looking at that necklace. Luckily they're able to sort it all out and arrest her.
The wedding happens and Gethsemane still doesn't kiss Griff.

Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-LordChukwudi Iwuji as The High EvolutionaryBradley Cooper as Rocket (voice)Pom Klementieff as MantisDave Bautista as DraxKaren Gillan as NebulaVin Diesel as Groot (voice)BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSISThe Guardians of the Galaxy have settled into their new headquarters on Knowhere, but their peace doesn't last long. Adam Warlock, a powerful warrior created by the Sovereign High Priestess, attacks the Guardians in an attempt to get revenge for them stealing from her. He critically injures Rocket before Nebula is able to stab him.
Unfortunately, the Guardians discover that they can't save Rocket because Orgocorp, the organization that experimented on him, implanted a kill switch inside him. With Rocket's life hanging in the balance, the Guardians set out to find the override code that can save him.
As Rocket lies dying, we learn the tragic story of how he became the Rocket we know. As a baby raccoon, Rocket was captured and experimented on by the High Evolutionary, the leader of Orgocorp. The High Evolutionary is obsessed with creating a perfect society by genetically modifying animals into intelligent, humanoid creatures called Humanimals. Rocket proves to be unusually intelligent, and the High Evolutionary uses his ideas to improve future generations of Humanimals. But instead of being proud of Rocket, the High Evolutionary becomes jealous that one of his creations is able to solve problems that he can't. He decides to remove Rocket's brain and destroy the rest of his Humanimal friends. Rocket attacks him in a rage, takes down his henchmen, and escapes in a spaceship, eventually becoming the Rocket we know today.
Back in the present, the Guardians enlist the help of an alternate version of Gamora, who is now a member of the Ravagers. Together, they break into Orgocorp and steal Rocket's file, only to discover that Theel, one of the High Evolutionary's advisors, has taken the override code.
Off to Counter-Earth they go to confront the High Evolutionary and the Guardians quickly discover just how dangerous the High Evolutionary really is because he's planning to destroy the entire planet.
They capture Theel and get the code to shut down Rocket's kill switch, but Rocket's heart stops, sending him into a near-death experience where he sees his Humanimal friends again and they tell him it's not his time. Peter Quill restarts his heart.
There's also this group of kids that the Guardians rescue and before leaving, Rocket also discovers a group of imprisoned animals on the ship. The High Evolutionary confronts him. The Guardians defeat him, but Rocket chooses not to kill him.
The Guardians help the animals and children escape to Knowhere. Quill nearly dies while trying to make it back, but Adam Warlock saves him after Groot had previously rescued Adam from the destruction of the ship.
With the mission over, Peter decides it's time for him to leave the Guardians. He names Rocket the new captain before returning to Earth and reuniting with his grandfather, Jason. Rocket is the new lead and a new team of Guardians is ready to save the world.

ABOUT: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 19)During a tutorial, Jess persuades Rory to take a drive and crashes her car, landing her in the hospital, and Lorelai rages at Luke for putting her daughter's life in danger.
AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 19)April 30, 2002 | The WB
CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 19)Lauren Graham as Lorelai GilmoreAlexis Bledel as Rory GilmoreBRAN’S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 19) SYNOPSISLorelai and Rory are at Doose’s, commenting on the new bagger. They go to check out, and Taylor invites them to the movie in the park. Lorelai wants to know what movie they’re picking, but he refuses to answer.
It finally comes out that the movie is going to be The Yearling for the fourth straight time. Taylor is fed up with Lorelai complaining and says she can just pick the movie.
They head home and begin talking through movie options, but they can’t decide!
Meanwhile, Lane is in class taking a test when Jess sneaks in late while the teacher isn’t looking. He asks Lane for a pen—not to take the test, but to make notes in his book.
Luke ends up getting a call to come to the principal’s office. Jess is a problem. He’s doing absolutely no work, he’s not nice to his teachers, and baseballs are going missing. The principal says he has to hire Rory a tutor. She needs serious help.
Later, at Luke’s, Taylor comes in with a binder full of movie titles they can pick from. Apparently, these come from a company that gives Taylor a good deal. The movies are all really obscure.
Luke goes to talk to Jess, and Jess makes it clear that he doesn’t care about school. So Luke goes to talk to Lorelai and brings her brownies. He asks to talk to Rory and asks if she’d be willing to tutor Jess.
She agrees.
Lorelai is not so sure about that.
Kirk shows up at the diner and pitches Lorelai on showing her the short film he’s been working on. She is PUMPED to watch it!
Rory goes to help Jess and asks Lorelai not to tell Dean if he calls. Lorelai is not thrilled with that, but Rory insists they’re just going to study.
Jess wants to do everything BUT study. He says, "Let’s go get ice cream, and then I’ll study."
So they take her car.
On the way back, they talk about their dreams for their lives. Jess wants to work when he needs money and just do his own thing. Rory wants to go to Harvard and then become a journalist.
Jess says, "We could go back to Luke’s... or we could turn right and drive around for a while."
She says, "Turn right."
Next thing you know, Rory calls Lorelai with bad news.
They got in an accident.
That’s right, folks. Jess crashed Rory’s car... THE CAR THAT DEAN BUILT HER!
So Rory is at the hospital because she fractured her wrist. Lorelai goes to pick her up, but she’s going to be there for another hour for X-rays.
So Lorelai goes to find Jess and yell at him, but she can’t find him. Instead, she ends up just yelling at Luke.
It turns into a screaming match. It’s a whole thing.
She’s crying and calls... Christopher.
Luke finds Jess sitting on the bridge and sits down next to him.
Lorelai comes home and sleeps in Rory’s room. When she wakes up, she finds Chris sitting next to her. He says he’s going to stay through tomorrow to make sure Rory is okay.
She asks if Sherry knows, and he just says, "Rory comes first."
So methinks she might not know.
The next day, they all go to the movie. We see Kirk’s short, and it’s perfect.
They overhear Patty and Babette talking. Apparently, Luke took Jess to a bus station and sent him home.

At one of the houses, there's an elderly woman. This repair guy goes outside and calls this dude and says hey I found a sugar momma for you. He's like I'm not sure. She's probably too old. Find me a younger sugar momma.
Cut to the opening credits which is animated and tells the story of this couple getting married, having a kid, and ultimately getting a divorce. They work the best they can to raise this kid. So that's the whole backstory I guess.
Cut to 1 year later and we see a guy open a safe and pull out a yellow folder. We meet Raymond, the kid from the pictures. His parents are in town to celebrate Christmas a week early. His roommate could not be more ready for them to leave so he can undecorate for Christmas because he hates it.
Raymond's Army dad leaves early but ends up coming back because his flight is cancelled. We meet Raymond's mom's new boyfriend - Greg and Greg is the sugar momma guy from the beginning! Turns out there's going to be a blizzard and everyone has to stay there, including Raymond's roommate and his 2 friends.
Greg goes next door where one of the repairmen lives. He hands Greg a gun but implores him to get the money and not kill anyone in the process. He's like it's going to be complicated now that everyone is there but ok.
Raymond is shocked to see his mom smoking weed with his friend, Winnie.
The power goes out and Christmas day comes and Greg and his partner strike! They gas everyone and hold them hostage at gunpoint. They tie them all up with Christmas lights. They decide the best course of action is to rob this place and then burn the house down. Luckily, they get loose and Raymond takes Greg down and dad shoots the other guy.
They all spend Christmas together and agree to spend every Christmas together moving forward.

It's Tuesday which means there's a new Hallmark movie to review!
ABOUT NOTHING BUT LOVEA TV director returns to her theater roots for a Shakespeare festival and runs into an old flame, rekindling a merry war of wits in this modern retelling of "Much Ado About Nothing."
AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR NOTHING BUT LOVEAugust 29, 2026 | Hallmark
CAST & CREW OF NOTHING BUT LOVEDirector: Shamim Sarif
Writers: Ramona Barckert, Neal Dodson, William Shakespeare
Cast:
Ashley Williams as Bea Bishop Niall Matter as Benny Gersten BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSISIt's time for the Summer Shakespeare Festival and Bea Bishop has arrived ahead of the show she's directing - The Taming of the Shrew. She is pumped, or should I say WAS pumped until she finds out Benny, a popular actor, is going to be the love interest for the play. She's not thrilled because clearly they have a history. Her mom is the one who runs the festival but she's going to retire. Bea says that SHE wants to take it over and her mom is thrilled.
The cast gets together for the first time for pizza that Benny brings. Benny meets his leading lady for the first time. Her name is Hannah and it's clear that Hannah has a thing for another guy in the play, Clay. When Benny sees them, he tells Bea to make Clay the lead instead, which she does.
Bea finds out that there are some more hoops to leap through before the board approves her to be the new director of the festival. Apparently, there's a buyer interested in purchasing the festival. If the play isn't a success, they need to sell. SO THE STAKES ARE HIGH!
She tells Benny about this and they agree to a peace treaty to work together to save the festival.
So turns out, Benny was right about Clay and Hannah....a little too right. Bea and Benny follow them into town and see them kiss big ones! Bea is worried that this isn't going to be great for the play - it's going to distract them.
So Bea goes to talk to her about it and Hannah is like we're falling in love. Bea is like it's not real love, it's festival love. Hannah disagrees. Bea says this happened to her once - she fell for Benny during their play together and got a bad review, calling her distracted. That's why she ultimately became a director. She tells Hannah if all you're thinking about is how much you're in love with Clay, it's going to affect your performance. Benny ends up having the same conversation with Clay.
Hannah and Clay decide they should try to get Bea and Benny together. It gives us a couple of great scenes.
Benny and Bea end up getting coffee together and talk through some changes they want to make to the play and then they're getting ready to talk about their feelings but they get interrupted. They begin to wonder if splitting Hannah and Clay up is doing more harm than good.
There's a party where everyone is in Shakespearean garb and Bea and Benny try to reverse what they've done and get Hannah and Clay back together, but they end up slow dancing together in the process.
The next day, Benny asks if she wants to go for a bite. She's like did you say date? And he's like no I said bite, but yes a date please. She says yes. And they tell each other that they like and love each other via crayon on the table. The SPARKS are flying. On the walk home, they both talk about how they overheard the other actors talking about how they are into each other. IT WAS ALL A BIG TRICK?!
This is quite the misunderstanding and she's like well thank goodness we didn't kiss!
This argument gets interrupted with a text - Hannah is leaving. She can't handle the pressure of saving this festival.
So they all agree it would be best if Benny and Bea took over the lead roles and it's going great! But THEN she hears that Benny told Clay that whoever takes over running the festival has impossibly large shoes to fill. She's like you don't think I can do it!
He realizes he done goofed. He needs to figure out a way to show her that not only does he believe she can run this festival, but show her that the love wasn't a trick.
He runs to the airport to stop Hannah from leaving and get her to come back and do the show, which she does!
The play is going great. The run is sold out. Bea goes to talk to her mom backstage and her mom tells her that her only regret in doing this is that she only focused on her job, not her heart. She encourages her to be sure she tends to her heart.
The show is a SMASH hit! After the show, she finds out that they don't need to sell. The board approves of Bea running the festival moving forward!
She goes to find Benny. She asks how he got Hannah to come back, and he says "I told her that all she needs to know is that Bea believes in you. When I know that Bea believes in me, I feel like I can do anything." He says I also knew I couldn't play this role with you because I wouldn't be able to hide my feelings for you.
She says I wanna be with you and I wanna run this festival with you. She says kiss me you fool and kiss they do, followed by a spin and dip!

ABOUT ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIAScott Lang and Hope Van Dyne are dragged into the Quantum Realm, along with Hope's parents and Scott's daughter Cassie. Together they must find a way to escape, but what secrets is Hope's mother hiding? And who is the mysterious Kang?
AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIAFebruary 17, 2023 | Theatrical Release
CAST & CREW OF ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIADirector: Peyton Reed
Writers: Jeff Loveness, Stan Lee, Larry Lieber
Cast:
Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSISScott Lang has settled into a pretty comfortable life. He's a successful writer, he's dating Hope van Dyne, and things are going pretty well. His daughter, Cassie, is now a teenager and has become an activist, helping people who were displaced by the Blip. This has caused some tension between her and Scott, who isn't exactly thrilled with her getting herself into dangerous situations.
While visiting Hope's parents, Cassie shows them a device she's been working on that can communicate with the Quantum Realm. Janet freaks out and shuts it down, but it's too late. The device has already sent a signal, opening a portal that sucks Scott, Cassie, Hope, Hank, Janet, and a bunch of Hank's lab ants into the Quantum Realm.
Scott and Cassie are separated from the others and are taken in by a group of people who are rebelling against the ruler of the Quantum Realm. Meanwhile, Hope, Hank, and Janet find themselves in a massive city where they run into Lord Krylar, an old friend of Janet's. Unfortunately, Krylar is now working for Kang, the guy who currently rules the Quantum Realm, so they steal his ship and get out of there.
The rebels explain to Scott and Cassie that Janet played a role in Kang becoming so powerful. Janet eventually admits that she met Kang during her previous time trapped in the Quantum Realm. Kang told her that he could get both of them home if she helped him repair his multiversal power core. They fixed it, but Janet discovered that Kang was actually a complete psycho who had been conquering and destroying entire timelines. She turned against him and used her Pym Particles to make the power core too large to function. Kang eventually regained his powers and took control of the Quantum Realm anyway.
The Langs are eventually captured and brought before Kang, who threatens to kill Cassie unless Scott helps him retrieve his power core. Scott shrinks down and heads into the core, where he encounters a probability storm that creates a bunch of copies of himself. Things get pretty chaotic, but Hope shows up and helps him get the core.
Kang captures Janet and has M.O.D.O.K. destroy the ship carrying Hank. Thankfully, Hank is rescued by his ants, who have spent their time in the Quantum Realm evolving into giant, super-intelligent ants.
With Hank's help, Scott and Hope head back into the fight. The rebels launch an all-out uprising against Kang and his army. During the battle, Cassie manages to convince M.O.D.O.K. — who turns out to be Darren Cross, the guy Scott thought he killed in the first movie — to switch sides. Cross helps them fight Kang but ultimately sacrifices himself.
Janet repairs the power core and she, Hank, Hope, and Cassie make it through a portal back home. Scott is almost left behind when Kang attacks him, but Hope comes back for him. Together, they manage to throw Kang into the power core, seemingly destroying him.
Cassie reopens the portal, allowing Scott and Hope to make it home. Scott goes back to his normal life, but he starts thinking about Kang and whether or not it's actually over with him. But he decides he's just not gonna worry about it.
