Is Donald Trump Helping or Hurting the Pro-Life Movement? | with Scott Klusendorf

What are we to make of Donald Trump?s recent statements on abortion? Are pro-life Americans winning or losing the battle to protect the rights of unborn children? What is the way forward? This week, author of 'The Case for Life' and leading pro-life expert, Scott Klusendorf, joins Frank to analyze and unpack former president Trump's statements regarding abortion and why it has created concern among pro-life advocates. During the episode, Frank and Scott will answer questions like: Why has the pro-life movement consistently lost the vote of the American public and what can pro-lifers do to win the upcoming referendums? What underlying issues may be motivating Trump to not seek a ban on abortion? Is he really pro-life? Is the ?will of the people? our standard? What should pro-life politicians say? How can they avoid tripping over the "what about" arguments against abortion? What about race and incest? Why do pro-abortion people falsely claim that women who suffer miscarriages or require surgery for ectopic pregnancies be jailed if abortion is outlawed in certain states? Is the pro-life view inherently religious? Are we trying to establish a theocracy?   Later in the episode, Frank and Scott will examine the concept of incrementalism and how it was used historically to fight slavery in the West. This eye-opening conversation will equip you to defend the sanctity of life as Scott exposes some of the weaknesses in the popular "pro-choice" arguments and explains some of the nuances and strategies needed to push the pro-life agenda forward politically. How to Stop Wokeness and Stand for Truth | with Dr. James Lindsay

Are there any practical ways that Christians and conservatives can stop the encroachment of woke ideology in our schools, businesses, and local communities? While the recent push for DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), critical theory, and transgender ideology may seem impossible to overcome, all hope is not lost! In the last podcast episode, Frank's guest, international speaker, author, and leading CRT expert, Dr. James Lindsay broke down the foundational beliefs of critical theory and how this "wokeness" ideology is an exceedingly hostile threat to western civilization and our American freedoms. This week, Dr. Lindsay returns to offer some tips and strategies that you can put in place in an effort to battle this destruction force in the U.S. How did Dr. Lindsay use his creative writing skills to combat woke educators? What's the best way for Christians to react to provocative events like the recent "Trans Visibility Day" that landed on Easter? How can you use your unique gifts and talents to make a difference? All that and more will be discussed in the conclusion of this essential two-part series! To view the entire VIDEO PODCAST be sure to join our CrossExamined private community. One Nation Under Wokeness | with Dr. James Lindsay

Is there an all out assault on common sense in the West? Over the last decade or so, proponents of "wokeness" have asserted crazy ideas like "men can get pregnant", "whiteness is evil", the extermination of Jews "from the river to the sea", and kids should be sterilized through "gender-affirming care." Where are these bizarre ideas coming from, what are they rooted in, and how are they shaping the future of America? This week, international speaker, author of 'The Queering of The American Child,' and leading expert on Critical Race Theory, Dr. James Lindsay, joins Frank to discuss the calculated attempt by socialists (and other Marxists in disguise) to establish a modern utopian society and take down all of western civilization through woke propaganda, immigration, and destroying the economy. During the podcast, Frank and Dr. Lindsay will answer questions like: What is the definition of "woke"? How is wokeness a religious cult and a "doctrine of conflict" that will never bring peace? What is gnosticism and how has it influenced the concept of Marxism? Why is this ideology specifically targeting kids? How does the open border benefit Marxists? Is private property a bad thing? Who are the "enemies" and targets of the woke movement? Dr. Lindsay's knowledge and expertise on the subject of CRT has caused him to reject it completely and to sound the alarm on it through his now famous speech at last year's European Union Parliament, his appearances with Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, and also through his own podcast called 'New Discourses.' Throughout the episode, he'll lay out the worldview of CRT and Marxism, the ultimate goals of wokism, and the potentially devastating impact that it will have on free nations. Why is America the primary target and what did Jesus have to say about these issues? All this and more will be addressed in Part 1 of this crucial discussion! 7 Archaeology Discoveries Associated with the Life (and Death) of Jesus | with Dr. Titus Kennedy

What historical evidence is there for people like Peter, Simon of Cyrene, Pontius Pilate, Jesus, Caiaphas, and other key figures in Jesus?s crucifixion? Seven people who had something to do with the trial of Jesus have been found through archaeology! Moreover, excavations in Israel have unearthed numerous archaeological finds that corroborate precisely what's recorded in the Bible. But what if excavations in Israel are just the tip of the iceberg? Beyond Israel, has the wider ancient world yielded artifacts that shed light on the biblical narrative? And what about Jesus? Is there any archaeological evidence that leads us back to Him? For this midweek podcast episode, Frank invites author and field archaeologist, Dr. Titus Kennedy, to talk about his brand-new book 'The Essential Archaeological Guide to Bible Lands: Uncovering Biblical Sites of the Ancient Near East and Mediterranean World.' In the book, Dr. Kennedy explores the various archaeological discoveries across the entirety of the ancient world that provide evidence for the historical accuracy of the Bible. During the episode, Frank and Titus and answer questions like: How did Josephus become a historian for the Romans? How did the emperor Hadrian inadvertently leave a trail of evidence for Christianity? How much of the Holy Land has actually been excavated? What evidence suggests that the Israelites were in Egypt during the time of the Exodus? Minimalist vs. maximalist archaeologists - what's the difference? Has archaeology ever contradicted the historical record of the Bible? What is the archaeological evidence for Jesus? Recognizing the great significance of the evidence that has been located in places like North Africa, Rome, Anatolia, and Mesopotamia, Titus has written this book as a modern resource for an area of archaeology that has gone relatively untouched for the past 30 years! This episode barely scratches the surface of what's uncovered in the book so be sure to grab your copy of 'The Essential Archaeological Guide to Bible Lands.' And if you desire to go even deeper in exploring biblical archaeology, enroll in the brand-new online course called 'Reasons for Faith' where Dr. Kennedy will serve as one of the LIVE instructors along with Dr. Stephen Meyer! He is Risen! Examining the Evidence for the Resurrection with Dr. Jonathan McLatchie

How did an itinerant preacher, born into poverty and raised in an obscure village, a man who never wrote a book or had a formal education, who was betrayed by his friends and ultimately crucified on a rugged cross, rise to become THE central figure in human history? Jesus of Nazareth has left an undeniable mark on the world and all of western society, surpassing the influence of any other person who has ever existed. But is it possible that the story of Jesus and His resurrection was invented by the authors of the New Testament? He is risen! In anticipation of Easter Sunday, Frank invites the skilled Christian apologist and evolutionary biologist, Dr. Jonathan McLatchie, to make the case for the resurrection through the exploration of New Testament scholarship. McLatchie, who's done a number of debates in defense of the Christian faith, will share his insights on the evidence for the resurrection, the reliability of the New Testament, and point out the significance of some of the details found in the Gospels and the book of Acts. During their conversation, Frank and Jonathan will answer questions like: Do New Testament scholars believe that Jesus actually existed? Are there extra-biblical sources that corroborate the early persecution of Christians? Do non-Christian New Testament scholars view the NT as historically reliable? Is it likely that the Apostles and eyewitnesses were either deceived themselves OR lying about the resurrection? What is specialized information and how does it help support the truth of the book of Acts?   McLatchie will also walk us through his two-step approach of defending the resurrection by using what's called the maximum data case. Later in the episode, Dr. McLatchie will talk about his online ministry that aims to mentor Christians and ex-Christians who are struggling with doubt by offering live interaction with experts in various fields of Christian scholarship. Be sure to visit TalkAboutDoubts.com to learn more about this ministry and consider enrolling in the brand-new LIVE! online course called 'Reasons for Faith' launching on 4/27, where Jonathan will join Dr. Stephen Meyer and a team of other leading apologists during livestreamed lectures to expound upon the best historical, scientific, philosophical, and archaeological evidence for the Christian faith! Why Would a GOOD God Create People He Knew Would Go to Hell? Plus More Q&A

If God knew that millions or billions of people would not only sin, but in the end reject Him and therefore spend eternity in Hell, why would He create mankind in the first place? In other words, why would God create people He knew would go to Hell? Wouldn't a "good" God create a universe where EVERYONE believes? This week, Frank responds to these and other listener questions surrounding various topics like conversational prayer, the fear of sharing your faith, and how to reconcile God's foreknowledge with our free will. He'll also address the assertion from some atheists and skeptics that theists must provide "extraordinary evidence for extraordinary claims", even though they don't hold themselves to the same (totally illogical) standards! You'll also learn: Can God force free creatures to love Him? How have non-Christians like Richard Dawkins and Jordan Peterson led people to Christ? Should Christians always expect divine revelation during prayer? What's a simple way to engage in theological conversations when you're fearful? Why (and how) should Christians defend the faith in Corporate America?   Later in the podcast, Frank shares some practical advice on how to combat wokism in the workplace. He'll also briefly unpack a shocking event that transpired when a concerned mom encountered a man identifying as transgender in the women's locker room at her local Planet Fitness. If you've ever been challenged in any of the areas highlighted in this week's midweek podcast, Frank will offer a helpful list of additional resources that are relevant to each of the topics discussed, so be sure to check our list of helpful links below! Is America Becoming a Police State? with Dinesh D’Souza

Is the U.S. government deliberately targeting patriotic Americans with conservative values? In a post 9/11 America, the necessary push to prevent Islamic terrorism opened the door for justice agencies to shift their focus to what they now call "domestic terrorists". But what if your conservative, Christian beliefs have the potential to put you on the government's radar as a domestic threat? This week, author, apologist, speaker, and political commentator, Dinesh D'Souza, joins Frank to discuss his new documentary film 'Police State', which is sounding the alarm on the Deep State's witch hunt of ordinary, law-abiding citizens who happen to be conservatives and/or Christians. D'Souza will share his own frightening run-in with the feds following the release of his film 'Obama's America', and expose how he was able to survive the shakedown and the attempted sabotage of his career. During their conversation, Frank and Dinesh will answer questions like: How did this targeting of U.S. citizens begin? What financial incentive is there to target "domestic terrorists"? Why does the Biden Administration desire an open border, and why are they allowing children to be trafficked? What can U.S. citizens do to protect themselves in such a corrupt society? Why does the government insist on prosecuting Trump but not Biden? What is the Red Referral Network and how can it benefit Christians and conservatives? In D'Souza's live action dramatization (based on actual footage recorded at the scene), he'll give you a glimpse of the horrific real-life events that devastated the lives of innocent people like Catholic pro-lifer, Mark Houck, a loving husband and father of seven. Could identifying as a pro-lifer, supporting natural marriage, or even opposing transgender ideology in your kid?s school be enough for you to be categorized as a ?domestic terrorist"? Can We Really Believe the Bible is Inerrant? Plus More Q&A

Do you have to believe that the Bible is completely without error to be a true Christian? If you don't agree with the Bible, you ultimately find yourself at odds with the teachings of Jesus and that's never a good idea. But if both the Old and New Testaments have discrepancies, why should we consider our Bible to be inspired? This week, Frank dives into the issue of the inspiration of Scripture and tackles several questions from the audience, briefly discussing topics like abortion, free will, and God's sovereignty. He'll also examine some of the apparent contradictions in the Bible and offer insights from scholars and theologians regarding the variations between the eyewitness testimonies recorded in the New Testament. During the episode, Frank will answer questions like: Do humans beings inevitably make mistakes? If so, how can we trust the Bible? If everything happens for a reason, do we still have free will? How did St. Augustine approach the inerrancy of Scripture? Why is it important to have an eternal perspective? Does the parable of the landowner contradict the promise of rewards in heaven?   Additionally, Frank will take us into the cosmic realm and explore the implications of the Big Bang on the creation story in Genesis. For those wanting to go deeper into these questions, Frank shares his recommended reads to expand their understanding. If grappling with challenging passages in the Bible has been a hurdle for you, this episode is a must-listen! Do You Have ?Blood on Your Hands?? 3 Questions About “Trans Rights”

Do you have blood on your hands? Are Christian beliefs motivating trans people to commit the unthinkable act of suicide? The alarming prevalence of depression among people battling gender dysphoria has prompted advocates of the transgender movement to demand political action, proposing that the solution lies in the push for "trans rights". But what happens when the pursuit of these "rights" collide with basic human rights? This week, Frank tackles a very sensitive question from a listener regarding the outcry for more "trans rights" by the parents of a young trans person who tragically decided to end his life prematurely. As Frank shares some of the details of this heartbreaking story, he'll address the erroneous notion that being in opposition to "trans rights" is what caused the untimely death of their child. During this podcast episode, Frank will answer questions like: What are trans rights? How do they collide with basic human rights? What are the main conditions surrounding trans suicide? Does social acceptance lessen the likelihood of suicide among transgender people? How did a high school in Virginia fail in protecting not one, but two teenage victims of sexual assault? How do trans activists bully people? What is the best way to love someone struggling with gender dysphoria? Is it approval? Frank will also highlight a few examples of how "trans rights" have compromised the overall safety and privacy of young women and briefly discuss how so-called gender affirming care has contributed to the current mental health crisis. Later in the episode, Frank will identify the root cause of the staggering suicide rates among transgender people and explore solutions that can offer true healing for those within the trans community. Does the Resurrection of Jesus Prove He is the Jewish Messiah? with Eric Chabot

If Jesus rose from the dead, wouldn't that also demonstrate beyond a reasonable doubt that the Messianic prophecies were about Him? Even if you can convince an orthodox Jew that the resurrection actually happened, it still may not be enough to persuade them that Jesus is the promised Messiah of the Old Testament. Where exactly is the disconnect and why do so many Jews (and even Christians) have trouble detecting the link between these prophecies and the events described in the Gospels? This week, Frank invites Eric Chabot, author of the book 'The Resurrection of the Jewish Messiah', and contributor to the new book, 'Faith Examined', to explore the Old Testament's references to the Messiah and the great significance of the literary theme of the third day throughout the Scriptures. Serving as the chapter leader of Ratio Christi at The Ohio State University, Eric will share how Ratio Christi is reaching college students with the Gospel on his local campus and also touch on why there is a Jewish aversion to accepting Jesus as the Messiah. During their conversation, Frank and Eric will answer questions like: What strategies does Ratio Christi use to engage students on The Ohio State campus? How has the attitude towards religion shifted in recent years at Ohio State? Why do Jews often avoid Isaiah 53? What's so special about 1 Corinthians 15? Do Messianic prophecies specifically promise that the Messiah will rise from the dead? What is the commonality between Jews who had previously claimed to be the Messiah prior to Jesus? As you'll hear during this midweek podcast episode, key passages from the Old and New Testaments include symbolism, typology, and metaphors, all pointing to the reality that Jesus meets all of the qualifications of the Jewish Messiah. Because of his background growing up in a Jewish community, Eric has a passion for drawing Jewish people to Christ and has used these clues from the Scriptures to foster meaningful conversations with people in that demographic. If you want to dig deeper into the significance of the Messianic prophecies, be sure to pick up a copy of Eric's book 'The Resurrection of the Jewish Messiah' and also read his chapter on this topic in the new book written by CIA graduates called 'Faith Examined: New Arguments for Persistent Questions, Essays in Honor of Dr. Frank Turek.' The #1 Doctrine That Answers Christianity’s Toughest Questions with Dr. Tim Stratton

It's the age old question--if God is sovereign over all things then how do we have free will? And if God controls everything, does that make Him the author of evil since He causes humans to sin? How do we reconcile a good God with all of the pain and suffering that's happening in the world? It can seem like a bit of a conundrum for Christians, and the lack of satisfactory answers has caused many people to turn away from God. But what if there was a doctrine or school of thought that could help us make sense of these seemingly intractable problems? Joining Frank on the podcast this week is CIA graduate and professor of Theology at Trinity Theological Seminary, Tim Stratton, who has spent his fair share of time studying these dillemmas. So much time in fact, that this centuries old school of thought known as "Mere Molinism" became the focus of his doctoral dissertation. During the episode, Frank and Tim will answer questions like: What event in his personal life caused Tim to question his former Calvinist beliefs? Where does the term Molinism come from? What are the two "main ingredients" of Molinism? How does Molinism compare to Arminianism and Calvinism? What is the proper interpretation of Romans 9? How does Molinism solve the problem of evil? How does Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame apply to Molinism? If you've ever struggled with the problem of evil or wondered how we can possibly steer our own ship when God is completely omniscient, then this episode will definitely give you a few light bulb moments! The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God with Justin Brierley – Part 2

Can a purely materialistic worldview account for concepts like human dignity, moral absolutes, or objective meaning? In a surprising (and encouraging) turn of events, many who once held to an atheistic worldview are beginning to see that a search for meaning without God is ultimately futile. As this realization continues to permeate the minds of prominent intellectuals within the new atheist movement, will this spark a new interest in faith conversations and even Christianity itself? This week, Justin Brierley returns to talk more about his new book (and podcast), 'The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God: Why New Atheism Grew Old and Secular Thinkers Are Considering Christianity Again', as well as explore the positive impacts of Christianity on contemporary society and its overarching role in uplifting humanity. Why did Christianity spread so quickly in the ancient world? Was Julias Caesar a hero or a tyrant? Why are people flocking to hear Jordan Peterson speak about the Bible of all things? The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God | with Justin Brierley – Part 1

Could we be witnessing a return of belief in God during our generation? It seems that the Christian narrative that shaped the West has been replaced by sweeping secularism. But is that the end of the story? In recent years, a number of highly intellectual atheists have abandoned their secularism and found themselves surprised by the continuing resonance and relevance of Christianity in today's modern world. Is it possible that the new atheist movement is now dealing with a massive downward spiral of its own? And what's pushing this new generation of secular thinkers to reconsider the Christian worldview in a positive light? This week, Frank speaks with the one and only Justin Brierley, former host of the popular show 'Unbelievable' and author of the new book, 'The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God: Why New Atheism Grew Old and Secular Thinkers Are Considering Christianity Again.' In conjunction with the release of the book, Justin is here to share the details on his new documentary podcast of the same title, and how this project has reignited his hope for the survival of the Christian faith in secular society. During the episode, Frank and Justin will answer questions like: Why did Justin end his time on 'Unbelievable'? What is the focus of Justin's new podcast? What contributed to the rise of New Atheism after 9/11? Is Richard Dawkins a "Christian Atheist?" Why did Christianity fuel the modern scientific revolution? Who are the prominent voices leading the exodus of new atheism? Justin and Frank will also touch on some of the splits within the new atheist movement and highlight the ways in which atheism maintains its own version of dogmatism and religiosity. From Gangs to the Gospel: An Inside Look at the Faith Journey of Ruslan KD

Where do you go to find good Christian commentary on current events happening in pop-culture? YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other social media channels have created an almost endless online space for Christians to defend the faith and weigh in on cultural issues. But what has been the overall impact of Christian content creation and are most Christian content creators using their influence in a way that truly gives glory to God? This week, Frank sits down with one of today's most well-known and relatable Christian YouTubers, Ruslan KD. A refugee from Baku, Azerbaijan, Ruslan moved to the U.S. as a child and over the years slowly made the transition from being a troubled gang member to a devout follower of Jesus Christ. Covering a variety of topics from pop culture, to theology, apologetics, and even politics, Ruslan's down-to-earth content has helped him gain a massive following, attracting Christians and non-Christians from all walks of life. During their conversation, Frank and Ruslan will answer questions like: How did Ruslan transition from atheism to Christianity and what did his overall faith journey look like? What makes Greg Laurie stand out as one of Ruslan's favorite past guests? How and why did Ruslan make the transition from a successful Hip Hop artist to a successful Christian YouTuber (seemingly overnight)? Why is Ruslan such a big fan of the Joe Rogan podcast? How is the current moral decline we see happening in culture leading more people to Christ? What advice does Ruslan have to offer for Christian content creators? As Ruslan shares his story, you'll get the inside scoop (along with some shocking details) on his past traumas, and how all of this (plus an apologetics book recommendation) ultimately led him to lean into the good news of the Gospel. Regardless of your faith or cultural background, Ruslan will offer you a fresh perspective on trending topics that's grounded in compassion and biblical truth. The Lazy Approach to Evangelism | with Eric Hernandez

Is it necessary to have all the answers to complex theological or cultural questions when talking to non-Christians? Absolutely not! But the fear of not having a response, let alone a convincing one, can be overwhelming, leading many Christians to shy away from sharing their beliefs. When you feel trapped in such situations, is there an easy way out? Christian apologist and author Eric Hernandez knows a thing or two about how to navigate tough conversations with skeptics. This week, Frank invites Eric on the show to talk about his new book 'The Lazy Approach to Evangelism: A Simple Guide for Conversing with Nonbelievers,' a wonderful resource for Christians who want to be more effective as they engage non-Christians with the Gospel (think 'Tactics' combined with 'I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist'!). During the episode, Frank and Eric role play through a lively debate Eric recently had with a feminist lawyer on abortion and answer questions like: What are the 5 essential tools for "lazy apologetics"? Rebutting vs. refuting - what's the difference? How did Eric stump a pro-choice advocate? How can Christians defend the faith when talking to people who don't believe the Bible? What two principles did the Apostle Paul instruct us to use when dialoguing with non-Christians? What did Jesus do when He was confronted with a well-packaged logical fallacy? Evangelism can be tough at times, but it's a lot easier when you get a good grasp on how to spot faulty and inconsistent ideas. As you'll hear during this conversation, learning how to graciously shift the burden of proof to your opponent can make a world of difference. Living in the DAZE of Deception | with Jack Hibbs

Have you ever believed something that you discovered later on just wasn't true? In an upside down world where lies are well-packaged and truth is constantly suppressed, it's no wonder that both Christians and non-Christians alike have fallen prey to mass deception. But if the Church is struggling to recognize truth from error, what hope is there for people in the secular world who aren't being guided by the unfailing Word of God? This week, Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills joins Frank to discuss the inspiration behind his brand-new (and already best-selling) book 'Living in the Daze of Deception: How to Discern Truth from Culture's Lies.' Written in the midst of the unforgettable COVID-19 outbreak, Jack explores the different forms of deception that have been a stumbling block to Christians and secular society, and also provides guidance on how to detect it if and when it comes your way. During the episode, Frank and Jack will answer questions like: Why did Jack initially reject the idea of writing this book and what eventually changed his mind? How did Jack become the founding pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and how did the pandemic specifically impact church attendance? What convinced Jack to re-open his church during the pandemic? Does the Bible instruct Christians to ALWAYS obey authorities, no matter what? How are Christians being deceived by other Christians in church? Is the transgender craze actually a "new" phenomenon? Jesus warned us to "watch out that no one deceives you", which is why it's crucial for all believers to have a solid biblical foundation and to make disciples. As Jack shares personal encounters he's had as a pastor, you'll hear real-life examples of how truth can bring healing, even in the aftermath of past deception. If you want to avoid becoming a future victim of misinformation and doctrines of demons, make sure you grab a copy of 'Living in the Daze of Deception'! The Top 10 Hasty Generalizations That Plague Our Society Today

Have you ever had someone jump to false conclusions about you based on a single comment or tweet? That's what you call a hasty generalization, and people on both sides of the political and theological aisle have been guilty of committing this logical fallacy, many times resulting in the marginalization of whomever is on the receiving end of the accusation. In this current season of political chaos, how can you speak your mind (and share the truth) without falling into the trap of becoming a victim (or maybe even a perpetrator) of these snap judgments? This week, Frank addresses 10 hot-button topics in a single podcast episode! How will he cram so much in so little time? Hastily! In this lightning fast discussion on politics, religion, and logical fallacies, Frank will answer questions like: Is it racist to care about border security? Does being concerned about racial disparities mean that a person is "woke"? Is it divisive to call out heresy in church? How did Frank respond when someone called him a bigot? Do Christians seem to carry a lot of political influence as of late? What did the "He Gets Us" ad campaign get wrong...again?   Later in the episode, Frank responds to an email from a skeptic who made a few hasty generalizations in regards to the previous podcast episode featuring Eric Metaxas. Whether it's political issues like border security and election fraud or theological debates like a young earth versus an old earth, we shouldn't make assumptions without having sufficient information. Want to learn more about how to avoid hasty generalizations? Is America Headed for Disaster? | with Eric Metaxas

Is America headed down a dark path similar to that of Nazi Germany? If history has shown us anything, it's that bad things happen when Christians don't collectively speak out against evil. The German Church of the 1930's is a great example of what NOT to do in a tumultuous time of political crisis, but has the American Church fallen into the same passive trap of doing nothing while evil slowly tightens its grip on our country? The groundbreaking book 'Letter to the American Church' hopped off bookshelves across the country and has now become a brand-new documentary film serving as the final clarion call to sleeping Christians and conservatives. This week, the author of the best-selling book that inspired the film and popular radio host, Eric Metaxas, joins Frank to talk about the movie in detail and to expose the inevitable doom that awaits America if the Church doesn't wake up now! During the episode, Frank and Eric will answer questions like: What are some of the similarities between 1930's Germany and the West today? What mistakes did the Church in Germany make and what should Christians in America do differently? Are patriotic Christians guilty of Christian Nationalism? What should you do if your church isn't concerned about politics? Why does Eric still maintain hope for America?   From open borders to trans ideology, mass abortions and critical race theory, there's more than enough issues that the Church MUST confront head-on while we still have the chance. As you'll hear during this episode, when people are doing evil, Christians are morally obligated to stand up just like Jesus did! How can you make a difference? 10 Salvations and Takin? it to the Streets with Tytus Jones

It's a busy week here at CrossExamined! In this midweek podcast episode, Frank reports on the biggest campus event in the history of our ministry and several opportunities for you to get involved in apologetics wherever you are. Then, Phoenix Hayes and Tytus Jones show how we can effectively engage urban communities with the Gospel. Tytus is a CrossExamined team member and Christian YouTuber who specializes in the unique field of urban apologetics and why it's needed in the Church today. Having personally encountered friends and loved ones who began to identify as "Hebrew Israelites", Tytus has used these interactions as inspiration to create content that offers a biblical, apologetic response to various identity-based cult groups. During their talk, Phoenix and Tytus will answer questions like: What is Urban Apologetics and what resources are available on the topic? Who are the Hebrew Israelites and what are their core beliefs? How did debating a Hebrew Israelite affect Ty's faith journey? What attitude do Hebrew Israelites typically hold toward Jews? What is the appeal of Hebrew Israelism and what are some of the inconsistencies in their worldview? What is the Yoruba tradition and how have celebrities like Beyonce helped to popularize it?   Urban apologetics often seeks to answer the popular (and false) notion that Christianity is just "the white man's religion." If you know someone who believes themselves to be a Hebrew Israelite or has now become a practitioner of African spirituality, this is the episode for you! And be sure to subscribe to Ty's YouTube channel to learn more about urban apologetics! To view the entire VIDEO PODCAST be sure to join our CrossExamined private community. Did Jesus REALLY Rise From the Dead? On the Resurrection (Vol.1) | with Dr. Gary Habermas

What would it take to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Christianity is true? If God exists and Jesus rose from the dead, then Christianity is true. Case closed! The BIG question is, what evidence do we have in support of these truth claims? Furthermore, are skeptics and non-Christians ready and willing to give the resurrection some serious thought and explore the facts? In this much anticipated podcast episode, Frank invites the great scholar, author, and resurrection expert, Dr. Gary Habermas, on the show to discuss the first volume of his magnum opus, 'On the Resurrection: Volume 1-Evidences.' Literally decades in the making, Gary sets the record straight on the historical resurrection, responding to common atheist objections, and exposing the areas of consensus in mainstream scholarship surrounding the major events written about in the Gospels. During the episode, Frank and Gary will answer questions like: What inspired Gary to dedicate his life to researching this topic? What kept Gary from converting to Buddhism? Why is it important for Christians to get familiar with the evidence for the resurrection? Should Christians appeal to the Gospels when arguing for the resurrection? Isn't that circular reasoning? Why do naturalism and the problem of evil fail to disprove the resurrection?   It's impossible to touch on everything covered in this massive 1000+ page resurrection investigation during a single episode, but Frank and Gary will address things like the significance of near death experiences (NDEs), share helpful insights from an unlikely source (Bart Ehrman), and talk about how the resurrection brought comfort to Gary during one of the most painful seasons of his life. Help! My Loved One Says I’m Toxic! | with Alisa Childers and Tim Barnett

What do you do when someone calls you "toxic" and says they don't want you in their life anymore? Is it even possible to reason with someone who rejects reason and objective truth? Because deconstruction can manifest itself in various ways and across various types of relationships, there is no one-size-fits all approach to these questions. This week, Alisa Childers and Tim Barnett return to continue the discussion on their brand-new book, 'The Deconstruction of Christianity: What It Is, Why It?s Destructive, and How to Respond.' The Deconstruction of Christianity | with Alisa Childers and Tim Barnett

What is this thing called "deconstruction" that has disrupted, dismantled, and destroyed the faith of so many people? Is it really a quest for truth, or is this radical spiritual makeover motivated by something else? As the deconstruction movement continues to grow in popularity, families and faith communities are often blindsided by individuals who leave Christianity and place the blame on "toxic Christians" or the allegedly ?immoral" God of the Bible. How do you keep the line of communication open with "exvangelicals" and what types of questions can help foster meaningful faith conversations? This week, our friends Alisa Childers and Tim Barnett join Frank to get to the heart of deconstruction and provide answers for Christians looking to tactfully engage people who have been swept up in the movement. During this podcast episode, they'll discuss the inspiration behind their brand-new book, 'The Deconstruction of Christianity: What It Is, Why It?s Destructive, and How to Respond' and also identify some of the pitfalls that have led many to abandon Christianity altogether. Listen as Frank, Alisa, and Tim answer questions like: What is the motivation behind deconstruction? Why doesn't Alisa classify her faith crisis as true deconstruction? What's an exvangelical and where did the term originate? What are Tim and Alisa's personal experiences with exvangelicals? What are some of the glaring inconsistencies within the deconstruction movement? Should Christians interpret the Bible "literally"?   If the deconstruction movement has come knocking on your door, this is the episode for you! As you'll hear during the conversation, having a strong grasp on the true Gospel and a working knowledge of apologetics can help Christians to escape the draw to deconstruction. Frank, Alisa, and Tim will only scratch the surface in this podcast, so be sure to check out the upcoming midweek podcast where they'll dive deeper into the consequences of deconstruction, its connection to critical theory, and the best way to communicate with people who call you "toxic". How to Evangelize Muslims | with Dr. Brady Blevins

What are the major "Do's and Don'ts" of witnessing to Muslims? On last week's podcast, Dr. Brady Blevins from Watchman Fellowship gave listeners some great advice on how to have effective faith conversations with Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses. This week, Brady returns to the program to discuss how Christians can effectively engage in conversations with Muslims about Jesus and the Bible in a way that feels natural and how researching their (sometimes difficult!) questions has helped him understand proper theology. He and Frank answer questions like: What exactly does "cult" mean and what are the 4 characteristics of a cult? What do Muslims generally believe and what makes them different from Christians? What is the Quranic Dilemma? How should you respond when a Muslim says that the Bible is corrupt? What are some predominant characteristics of the culture that can help you be a better and more effective communicator with Muslims? As you'll learn in this episode, effective evangelism is a lot more about gardening than it is about harvesting. Our job is to be obedient ambassadors for Christ by interacting positively with the people He puts on our path (or on our doorstep!) and letting Him handle the rest. You'll also discover that there is no one better to help us on this mission of interfaith apologetics than Brady, as he shares stories from many of the fascinating conversations he's had with his Muslim friends over the past 10-15 years! How to Evangelize Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses | with Dr. Brady Blevins

Knock, knock. Who's there? If a Mormon or a Jehovah's Witness comes to your door, what should you do and what should you say? As tempting as it may be, resist the urge to close the blinds and pretend you're not home or even worse, slam the door in their faces. Evangelizing someone involved in a cult may seem hopeless, but what if God wants to use you (yes YOU!) to reach them with the TRUE Gospel? What are the "Do's and Don'ts" of witnessing to members of the WatchTower Society and the so-called Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? That's what we're addressing in this week's podcast as Frank interviews Dr. Brady Blevins, Senior Apologist of Watchman Fellowship and instructor for our brand-new online course, 'Conversations with the Faiths.' During this podcast episode, Frank and Brady will answer questions like: What was Brady's first personal encounter with a Jehovah's Witness? What do JW's and Mormons believe about Jesus and why do they evangelize in pairs? What are the consequences of leaving these cults? How long does it typically take a Mormon to convert to orthodox Christianity? What single Bible verse obliterates the theology of Jehovah's Witnesses? How have false prophecies affected JW membership?   As you'll be reminded during this episode, Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons are not your enemy. But if you want to be effective in reaching them, you've got to exercise patience and prepare to have ongoing conversations with their members. And what better way to prepare than by signing up for Brady's course, 'Conversations with the Faiths'? Class starts on Monday, 2/5 so enroll NOW and stay tuned for the upcoming midweek podcast where Brady will lay out the game plan for evangelizing Muslims too! Tackling the Top 5 Objections Young People Have to Christianity | with Cliffe and Stuart Knechtle – Part 2

How can Christians defend the faith in light of today's most common objections from young atheists and agnostics? America's "best and brightest" have a bone to pick with God and the Christian worldview, which means evangelizing this demographic is of the utmost importance. But how can Christians effectively reach young people when factors like the problem of evil and the reality of suffering prohibit them from wanting to embrace theism? Back by popular demand, Cliffe and Stewart Knechtle of the popular YouTube channel, Give Me An Answer, return to share more insights on how they tackle today's toughest philosophical questions from college and university students. Does the truth of Christianity depend on how good (or bad) Christians live out their faith? Why is free will a necessary component of a moral universe? Is there biblical precedence for open-air evangelism? What effect has moral relativism had on the minds of high school students? All this and more will be discussed in Part 2 of this lighthearted but highly informative midweek podcast episode! Tackling the Top 5 Objections Young People Have to Christianity | with Cliffe and Stuart Knechtle

Do young people today reject theism and Christianity for the same reasons as past generations? If you ask the average American college student why they doubt Christianity or God's existence, you're sure to get a range of responses. But are their objections grounded in evidence, reason, and rationality? Or are they allowing their emotions and desires to guide their unbelief? Evangelizing college students is no easy task, but today's guests have mastered the art of dialoguing with young people who have major questions when it comes to faith, morality, and identity. This week, Frank sits down with the humble father/son duo, Cliffe and Stuart Knechtle of the popular YouTube channel, Give Me an Answer. During the episode, Frank, Cliffe, and Stuart will answer questions like: What are some of the top objections they get to Christianity and how do they respond? Why and how did Cliffe and Stuart start doing open-air apologetics on college campuses? How does atheism contradict the Black Lives Matter movement? Should depressed teens have the right to commit suicide? Should Christian parents send their kids to secular colleges and universities? What are some of the CRAZY (and sometimes frightening) ways that students have responded to their ministry?   As you'll hear throughout this conversation, Cliffe and Stuart take a head, heart, and hands approach when they evangelize on college campuses. This podcast episode is all about showcasing how to present both the love and the truth of Christ without (purposely) offending a potentially hostile audience. We know you're going to appreciate what Cliffe and Stuart have to say, so be sure to subscribe to their YouTube channel and stay tuned for the upcoming midweek podcast episode where Frank will wrap up the conversation with Cliffe and Stuart on how to effectively engage young people through Christian apologetics. The History of Modern-Day Israel with Bill Federer – Part 2

What are the historical and ideological factors that have shaped the modern state of Israel and the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict? Religion, corruption, and even money laundering cannot be overlooked when having a nuanced discussion on what has happened and is happening in that region. But with the complexity of this ongoing war of ideologies and power grabs, where does the true solution lie? During last week's podcast, Frank and our guest, best-selling author and historian Bill Federer, walked us through some of ancient Israel's history as documented through archaeology and in the Old Testament. This week, Bill briefly revisits the miraculous re-founding of Israel in 1948 and then gets into the weeds of many of the challenges that the Jews have faced in light of re-establishing their nation and protecting it from Islamic regimes that are dedicated to destroying Israel for good. Listen as Frank and Bill answer questions like: How did a population of only 600,000 Jews manage to defeat an army of five different countries the day after the modern state of Israel was founded? Why did the Palestinians vacate the land once it was reclaimed by Israel? What role does critical theory play in the history of the modern rise of Islamic governments? What's the ideology of Wahhabism and jihad? How did US government officials like Franklin D. Roosevelt, President Biden, Hilary Clinton, and others contribute to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? What led the son of Hamas' founder to turn away from Islam and convert to Christianity? How is Jesus the ultimate solution to this never-ending war?   As Bill ties up some of the loose ends from the prior podcast episode, he'll take us even deeper into the centuries-long hostility between Arab nations, Muslim fundamentalists, and Israel. Part 2 of this series is sure to leave you with a better understanding of the significance of the October 7th Hamas attack, decades-old oil transactions, critical theory, and how they're all linked to a long chain of antisemitic uprisings from past and present history. The History of Modern-Day Israel with Bill Federer – Part 1

How did Israel get to where it is today? Do Israeli's have a rightful claim to the land, or does it actually belong to the Palestinians? And is the conflict REALLY about land after all? We can learn a lot about the history of ancient Israel by reading the Bible and studying archaeology, but what else should concerned citizens know about modern-day Israel and the rise of antisemitism since that time? As promised, we're using the first podcast episode of 2024 to explore the history of modern-day Israel. Just a few weeks ago, nationally known speaker, best-selling author, and historian Bill Federer (founder of The American Minute) joined us to breakdown the TRUE history of Christmas. But this week he's back to discuss modern Israel's extensive origin story with Frank. During the show, Frank and Bill will answer questions like: How did the state of modern Israel begin? What archaeological finds corroborate Israel's long substantiated claim to the land? Was there a state of Palestine before 1948? How has the discovery of oil fueled the rise of antisemitism? Why is every land for peace deal rejected? And is this dispute really about land?   Believe it or not, Frank and Bill only begin the discussion in this podcast episode, so be sure to check out the upcoming midweek podcast episode this Tuesday to look even further into Israel and Palestine's past, present, and ongoing conflict. There's so much left to unpack and you have to stay tuned for the conclusion of this historical break down from a true expert! What Can Americans Learn From the Hamas Attack? Victor Marx LIVE from Israel

We all witnessed the footage and truly disturbing reports following the 10/7 Hamas attack on Israel, but just how bad was it? With a death toll of 1400+ and hostages who are still in captivity, the devastation caused at the hands of the "religion of peace" can't be understated. What's happening in Israel today and what can the Church and Americans do to help? It's a brand-new year and we're kicking it off by getting an eyewitness account of what's really been going on in Israel since it was invaded by the Hamas terrorist group. For this midweek podcast episode, our friend, president of All Things Possible Ministries, and former member of the military, Victor Marx, joins Frank LIVE from Israel to talk about what he's seen in the aftermath of the recent attacks. How are Victor and his team helping to heal trauma among Israeli citizens? Should Americans be worried about possible attacks in the U.S.? How can we pray for Israel and America? All these questions and more will be addressed in this informative but difficult discussion. Please be forewarned, this conversation may be tough for some to hear and may not be age appropriate for a younger audience. That being said, we feel it's a much needed subject to tackle in light of these current events and pray that this episode provides encouragement and awareness for our listeners. Is God Real? Exploring the Ultimate Question of Life | with Lee Strobel

The statistics show that skepticism, atheism, and agnosticism are on the rise among American adults today, along with hostility towards the Christian faith. But what if these current statistics aren't telling the whole story? Could it be that people are just as curious about God today as they've always been? It's the final podcast episode of 2023 and we're going out with a bang! This week, Frank talks with the one and only Lee Strobel about his brand-new book, 'Is God Real: Exploring the Ultimate Question of Life.' Aiming to answer today's biggest objections to God's existence (the problem of evil and divine hiddenness), Lee uses his latest book to unpack some of the best philosophical, scientific, and historical evidence for God. During their conversation, Frank and Lee will answer questions like: What makes this book unique in comparison to Lee's previous work? How has the attitude towards atheism evolved in recent decades? Why doesn't God make His existence more obvious? Which top scholars did Lee interview for the book? Why is faith in God (seemingly) on the decline in America? Which argument for God is most difficult for atheists to counter? What is the Apologetics Pyramid and how do you use it as a tool for evangelism?   As you'll hear during the episode, not a second goes by without someone (about 200 someones to be exact!) Googling the question: "Is God Real?" which leads to a digital tidal wave of information that generates more confusion than answers. On the contrary, Lee's book is an easy, yet compelling and logical explanation that pulls the apologetic cookies from the top shelf to the bottom shelf for anyone open and interested in learning more about the evidence we have for God's existence. And for those who want to go even further in their studies, consider enrolling in the Lee Strobel Center for Evangelism and Applied Apologetics at Colorado Christian University! Harvard, Heresy, and Near Death Experiences – Plus More Q&A

Is Harvard ready to embrace THE truth or is it doubling down on President Claudine Gay's "truth"? Just a couple weeks ago, Frank discussed the rising antisemitism on college campuses like Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, and MIT. During this midweek episode, Frank continues the conversation and briefly addresses President Gay's plagiarism scandal and the Harvard Crimson's censorship of Alan Dershowitz, a Jewish liberal and former Harvard professor who recently wrote an opinion piece on the matter. He also takes a look at Harvard's surprising history and how this so-called esteemed institution has totally gone off the rails. Later in the show, Frank also takes the time to respond to some listener questions surrounding objective morality, the real meaning of Christmas, NDEs (near death experiences), and confronting heresy among fellow believers. Is there a war between Christianity and science? What do NDEs tell us about Christianity? How do you navigate conversations with professing Christians who believe heresies? All of these questions and more will be discussed in this jam-packed midweek podcast episode you definitely don't want to miss! Have you ever wondered where Christmas traditions come from? Better yet, is there any CHRISTIAN truth to these traditions, or are they all rooted in paganism? And what's the deal with Santa Claus? Where did he come from and how did he become such a legend in the hearts and minds of both children and adults? The answers may surprise you! Have You Joined the Rebellion Against Jesus Because of Leftist Infiltration? | with Megan Basham

Have you unknowingly joined the rebellion AGAINST Jesus? You've probably noticed that there's no shortage of faith leaders and church denominations that have departed from biblical teachings to follow the political and moral positions of the culture instead. But with this secular societal backdrop, how can Christians remain faithful and avoid selling out to the whims of the culture? In this week's eye-opening podcast episode, Frank speaks with author, investigative reporter, (Christian) journalist, and writer for The Daily Wire, Megan Basham, to discuss the various ways in which Leftists have strategically infiltrated churches, parachurch organizations, and even Christian media with their secular agendas. During this episode, Megan will uncover the true reason why Leftists are targeting the Church and emphasize the need for Christians to be on guard against false teachers. Listen as Frank and Megan answer questions like: How did Megan get into journalism (and why should more Christians become journalists)? Has 'Christianity Today' gone woke? Are churches like Saddleback and well-known pastors like Andy Stanley headed in the wrong direction? What are the signs of Leftist indoctrination within the Church? What are the culture's "Twin Commandments" according to Megan? What should you do if some of these ideas have made their way into YOUR church? It seems we're being pressured on all sides to recant our Christian viewpoints, but we must stand firm on biblical truth and refuse to join in the rebellion against Jesus. We're confident that this podcast episode will help you to do just that! My Truth vs. THE Truth at Harvard

Why has antisemitism exploded on college campuses and around the world? In the aftermath of the horrifying Oct. 7th Hamas attack on Israel, students and even faculty members of some of our most prestigious institutions have gone on record to support the senseless and evil slaughtering of innocent Israeli citizens. As blatant acts of bullying and harassment have now been redirected toward Jewish college students, are the aggressors involved being held accountable? During this week's podcast episode, Frank reviews some disturbing headlines regarding antisemitism on college campuses and also talks about the recent congressional testimony of not one, but THREE (!) university presidents from Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, and MIT who clearly stated on record that calling for the genocide (death) of Jews only constitutes harassment "depending on the context". Frank will also play clips from the congressional meeting so that you can hear the madness for yourself! Listen as Frank answers questions like: Where must we draw the line when it comes to freedom of speech? Where does Harvard president Claudine Gay TOTALLY drop the ball when it comes to objective truth and morality? What "truths" are colleges like Harvard and Penn actually teaching their students? If freedom of speech is so important to Harvard and Penn, how do they currently rank according to the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression?   When Ivy League presidents like Claudine Gay can't come right out and say that calling for the murder of Jews is objectively wrong, we have a BIG problem. Is a gaslight apology coupled with the lighting of menorah candles enough to vindicate leaders who unashamedly defend the violent pro-Palestinian agenda? What Babylon Teaches The Church About Discipleship | with Shanda Fulbright

Who (or WHAT) is discipling you and your family? We often talk about discipleship in Christian circles, with most of us instinctively associating it with some form of ministry training. While this is certainly an aspect of discipleship, it doesn't quite encapsulate the concept as a whole. Is it safe to assume that the Church has been exclusive in its pursuit of producing disciples? Or has the culture managed to make a few disciples of its own? In this midweek podcast, Phoenix Hayes sits down with former public school teacher, OCC instructor, and Biola certified Christian apologist, Shanda Fulbright, to talk about some practical ways to make faithful disciples. With help from Daniel and his Jewish friends, Shanda will explain what Christians can learn about discipleship from their experience in Babylon. During the episode, Phoenix and Shanda will answer questions like: What are three key ingredients to effective discipleship? Is Christian discipleship just another form of "indoctrination"? Why were Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego targeted by Babylon? How many professing Christians in the U.S. actually hold a biblical worldview? What can parents (and the Church) do to curtail culture's influence on their kids?   As you'll hear during this episode, the unwavering faith of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego didn't happen by accident. What was it that gave them the courage and the confidence to stand against the culture of their day? Listen and learn! Do you need help discipling your 6-8th grader? Can Mathematics Be Used to Detect Design in Nature? | with Dr. William Dembski

How do we know that life is designed? Would it surprise you to know that it can be done mathematically? You see, things like biological systems, specified complexity, and probabilistic hurdles leave no reasonable explanation for life as we know it without a creator. But are atheists and skeptics willing and able to address these hurdles without attributing them to so-called "chance"? In this week's podcast episode, Frank interviews Dr. William "Bill" Dembski, one of the founders of the modern-day intelligent design movement, who has an impressive academic background in philosophy, mathematics, and theology and sits on the Board of Directors at the Discovery Institute. In this thought-provoking episode, Bill and Frank team up to discuss the second edition of Bill's book (co-authored by Winston Ewert) 'The Design Inference: Eliminating Chance Through Small Probabilities', which lays out the mathematical way to detect design in nature. During their conversation, Bill and Frank will answer questions like: What is a design inference and what happens when you apply it to biology? Why did Bill take a 10-year hiatus from his career in academia? How did the use of mathematics to detect design expose the president of Stanford University as a cheat? What do cells and DNA reveal about the complexity of life? What are the challenges that materialists face when trying to explain the origin of life? What are some of the flaws in Richard Dawkins' argument for 'Climbing Mount Improbable'? What do monkeys and Shakespeare have in common?   As you'll hear in this episode, it isn't just a religious position that supports the existence of an intelligent designer. Objections to design, such as the argument from ignorance, are not valid when the design inference is applied correctly. How do we know that life is designed? Because the numbers just don't lie! To view the entire VIDEO PODCAST be sure to join our CrossExamined private community. Deconstructing Critical Theory | with Krista Bontrager & Monique Duson

What does the Bible teach us about race, ethnicity, unity, and justice? When Krista Bontrager (a conservative wife, homeschool mom, and Biola graduate) formed a close relationship with Monique Duson (a self-proclaimed former social justice warrior, international missionary, and Biola graduate), both women discovered that even in their shared love for Jesus, their views on these social issues couldn't have been more diametrically opposed. With a topic as (potentially) divisive, triggering, and racially charged as social justice, how exactly did Krista and Monique manage to develop a close friendship and redirect their prior experiences and individual perspectives to form a ministry dedicated to answering these questions from a biblical worldview? In this midweek podcast episode, CrossExamined's Staff Writer, Phoenix Hayes, sits down with Monique and Krista, founders of the Center for Biblical Unity, to discuss the inspiration behind their upcoming book 'Walking in Unity: Biblical Answers to Questions on Race and Racism.' As they share the origin story of their friendship, you'll see how walking and talking about their conflicting ideas strengthened their budding friendship and led them to a greater understanding of Critical Theory, including how it fundamentally clashes with the Gospel message. Listen as Phoenix, Monique, and Krista answer questions like: How did Krista and Monique's upbringing impact their view of American history and the person of Jesus? Should all churches place an emphasis on ethnic diversity? How does their approach in the book tackle the issue of CRT in a unique way? What are some common forms of critical theory and what is the collective goal of each one? How is CRT shaping conversations surrounding the Israel/Hamas conflict?   Krista and Monique's journey is proof that the Gospel still has the power to unite people from all walks of life, regardless of differences in age, ethnicity, and cultural backgrounds. This is a light-hearted conversation that will make you laugh, but also gives valuable insight into how to have tough conversations fruitfully. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more details on when 'Walking in Unity' will be available again for pre-order. Due to a minor setback, the original release date has been delayed and the new date is TBD. Introducing the KINGDOM AI PROJECT

What is the eternal message of hope that we are privileged to have here in the United States (and other parts of the West) that many people around the world don't have? It is the Gospel--the saving grace of Jesus Christ. And it was Jesus Himself who told us to go and make disciples of ALL NATIONS. But with only about 20% of the world speaking English (that?s only 1 out of 5 people), how can we reach the other 80% with not only the Gospel, but also with the evidence for Christianity? And how can that be accomplished most effectively without breaking the bank? In this week's podcast episode, Frank, Phoenix, and Jorge team up to discuss how CrossExamined is chartering unprecedented territories by way of cyberspace (today's Roman roads). With the help of God, cutting-edge technology, and generous donors, we're using artificial intelligence (AI) and social media in ways that they have NEVER been used before! During the episode, Frank, Phoenix, and Jorge will share some of the exciting details surrounding this brand-new endeavor, known as the "Kingdom AI Project?, and you?ll hear Frank speak languages that he really doesn?t speak! They'll also answer questions like: Why is it wise for Christians to use AI technology in this way? Why is the Kingdom AI Project targeting Africa first? What does the Tower of Babel and Pentecost have to do with any of this? How is the Kingdom AI Project more cost-effective than traditional in-person missionaries? How does the CE budget and online reach compare to RZIM (which sadly is no longer in existence)? How can Christians all over the world get involved in the project to reach their local communities?   We are convinced that the Gospel message can overcome dark forces even in places where it's prohibited to talk about Christianity. This could very well be the BIGGEST feat in the history of apologetics anywhere in the world, which is why we're requesting all hands-on deck to help us reach this epic goal. Please join us today so that we can continue to grow God's kingdom by sharing the evidence for truth and the Gospel message using over 30 languages to reach 3 BILLION PEOPLE across the globe! How Biochemistry Led Me to the Creator | with Dr. Fazale “Fuz” Rana

How in the world did a biochemist with a Muslim father find his saving grace through Jesus Christ? Fazale ?Fuz? Rana is president, CEO, and senior scholar of Reasons to Believe (RTB), an organization dedicated to communicating the powerful scientific case for God?s existence and the Bible?s reliability to both Christians and non-Christians. Though he initially embraced the evolutionary paradigm, he eventually drew the conclusion that only a Creator?s involvement could explain the elegance of biochemical systems. But how? In this midweek podcast episode, Dan sits down with Fuz (a former agnostic) to discuss how science and faith intricately work together, ultimately pointing to the reality of intelligent design. Why did Fuz lose interest in Islam? What led him to embrace the Gospel message? How did biochemistry dislodge Fuz's materialistic worldview? What ultimately led him to partner with RTB, and what is the hopeful future of this innovative apologetics ministry? Inside Noah’s Ark with | Dr. Tim Chaffey

Can we REALLY believe in Noah's ark? Practically speaking, the idea of a massive flood, a giant ark, a rainbow covenant, and the preservation of animals through the care of one small family on an ancient ship sounds outlandish at best. But are there legitimate answers to some of the most common objections raised by skeptics in regards to this well-known Bible story? Earlier this month, Frank had the pleasure of visiting the Ark Encounter, which is an AMAZING exhibit that features a full-size replica of Noah's ark based on the dimensions specified in the Bible. During his time at the Ark Encounter, Frank got to meet up with the founder, Ken Ham, and The Ark's content manager, Dr. Timothy Chaffey. In this unique and exciting podcast episode, Tim joins Frank to answer some questions about Noah's Ark and The Ark Encounter such as: Around what time period did Noah enter the ark and how long did it take him to build it? How did Noah track down all the different animals? Could a million animal species fit on Noah's ark? What do young-earthers and old-earthers have in common? Is there evidence for a global flood outside of the Bible? What's the origin story behind the Ark Encounter and were Kentucky tax dollars used to fund it?   Most atheists, scientists, and philosophers agree that space, time, and matter had a beginning out of nothing. While they won?t admit that God is the cause, they are admitting the evidence for the Bible?s greatest miracle--Genesis 1:1. And if Genesis 1:1 is actually true (and it is), then Noah's ark is certainly possible! This podcast episode will only scratch the surface in the discussion of Noah's ark, so be sure to pick up a copy of Tim's book 'Inside Noah's Ark: Why It Worked' (co-authored by Laura Welch) and add an Ark Encounter visit to the top of your bucket list! Weathering Climate Change | with Dr. Hugh Ross

What (if anything) can the Bible teach us about climate change? Arguably, the most controversial aspect of the climate change debate seems to be whether it's occurring naturally or as a result of human technological advances. But with an issue as polarizing and politicized as it's become over the last few decades, is there a rational way to work towards a solution that benefits everyone (along with our environment)? In this midweek podcast episode, astrophysicist and best-selling author, Dr. Hugh Ross of Reasons to Believe, joins Dan to discuss Hugh's book 'Weathering Climate Change: A Fresh Approach.' Atheists and skeptics often question WHY God made the universe the way that He did, a question that Hugh will unpack for the audience in this episode. Hugh and Dan will also answer questions like: What is God's ultimate goal for humanity and the universe? Does the Bible offer any insight as to how to approach the issue of climate change? Why are so many species becoming extinct? What are the benefits of an ice age cycle? How could improving climate change impact the economy?   As you'll discover in this podcast, the universe is just one of the tools that God will use to eradicate the problem of evil and suffering. But until that happens, we all have the responsibility to properly preserve our planet for future generations. Listen as Hugh offers his insight on the best ways to accomplish that goal and confronts some of the misconceptions surrounding faith, politics, and climate change. This show will bless you if you have ever supported CrossExamined.org (and even if you haven?t). Just two weeks ago at the Unshaken conference in Nashville, TN, Frank was both shocked and honored to learn that a group of graduates from the CrossExamined Instructor Academy (CIA) began a book project back in 2019 called, 'Faith Examined: New Arguments for Persistent Questions, Essays in Honor of Dr. Frank Turek'. The first copy of that book was given to Frank that night! In this week's podcast episode, Frank interviews the book's editor, Professor and New Testament scholar, Clark Bates, who spearheaded the project. During their conversation, Frank and Clark answer questions like: How did a festschrift in honor of CrossExamined come about? Which apologists have contributed to the book and what are some of the key points they make? Who is Richard Rohr and what is the so-called "Jesus Hermeneutic" that is popular amoung progressive Christians? How do we know that way of interpreting the Bible is wrong? How does Clark approach the reliability of Scripture? How is this book actually an honor for all supporters of CrossExamined?   In addition to Clark Bates, contributors to the book include, Alisa Childers, Natasha Crain, Jorge Gil, Sean McDowell, Alex McElroy, Tim Stratton, Eric Chabot, Phil Fernandes, Melissa Dougherty, William Soo Hoo, and Eric Hernandez. A labor of love that was four years in the making, 'Faith Examined' will help you respond to the most current objections to Christianity as it celebrates the contributions of CIA students and the dedicated supporters of CrossExamined.  Please click the link below to get this great book and support the work of Clark and the contributors! Are Christian Politicians Trying to Set Up a Theocracy? – Part 2

Do evangelical Christians hold political views that are "wildly extreme"? If the sanctity of human life and the institution of marriage being solely between one man and one woman are extreme, then the answer is a resounding yes! Jihadist terrorism on the other hand? Not so much. Since when did defending basic human rights, freedom of religion, and free speech become extreme? Furthermore, why is the left so hesitant to condemn such heinous acts against humanity, even as those acts continue to threaten western civilization as we know it? In this midweek podcast episode, Frank continues the discussion on attorney Marci A. Hamilton's hit piece that accused House Speaker, Mike Johnson, of pushing theocracy in America. What are some of the glaring inconsistencies within Hamilton's recent article? Is all religious truth irrational? Why did science arise in the Christian world but not the Muslim world? Frank will tackle all these questions and show more video evidence that representative Johnson is not at all guilty of being a theocrat. Are Christian Politicians Trying to Set Up a Theocracy?

Are Christian politicians plotting to turn America into a theocracy? That's precisely what the woke media outlets want you to think, often accusing Christians of trying to violate the ?separation of church and state". They also accuse Christians of trying to legislate morality. But if Christians and conservatives don't have the "right" to legislate morality, who does? House Speaker, Mike Johnson, was recently accused of being a theocrat in an article published by The Guardian titled 'Mike Johnson, Theocrat: The House Speaker and a Plot Against America.' In this week's podcast episode, Frank reviews the scathing article that was written by attorney Marci A. Hamilton who analyzes an old clip from Representative Mike Johnson. Frank will also address questions like: What is the true definition of a theocracy? Should principles found in the Bible be eradicated from all public policy? What objective source do Leftists and atheists have for public policy? Is the "separation of church and state"  in the constitution and is it even an issue? Is there a difference between legislating religion and legislating morality? Were the founding fathers anti-religious? Does the Bible advise Christians to establish a theocracy?   Listen as Frank addresses some of the erroneous charges made against Mike Johnson and unpacks some of the political, moral, and apologetic implications of Hamilton's accusations. Who exactly is the moral authority for non-Christians and those on the far left? All this and more will be discussed in this thought-provoking episode! Ossuaries, Tombs, and Archaeological Evidence for the New Testament | with Joel Kramer

How much does archaeology actually reveal about the claims made in the New Testament? The four Gospels give us key details into the life and ministry of Jesus, the disciples, and the culture of Jerusalem at that time. But can a solid case for the truth of Christianity be made based on archaeological discoveries alone? Furthermore, can the secular worldview of most archaeologists account for these discoveries? In this exciting follow-up podcast episode, best-selling author and leading archaeologist, Joel P. Kramer, returns to share several convincing pieces of evidence that support the historical reliability of the New Testament. How do we know the location of Jesus' tomb? Did archaeologists really find the bones of Jesus? What other names mentioned in the New Testament have been tied to modern-day archaeological finds? 5 AMAZING Archaeological Finds from the Old Testament | with Joel P. Kramer

What can recent archaeological discoveries tell us about the historicity of the Bible? The miraculous destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the equally miraculous fall of Jericho seem far-fetched to modern-day skeptics and Bible critics. But is it reasonable to discount what's written in the Bible when excavation findings have consistently corroborated events recorded in the Old Testament? In this fascinating podcast episode, Frank invites best-selling author and archaeologist, Joel P. Kramer, to unpack some of the greatest archaeological evidence for the validity of both history and prophecy recorded in the Bible. On his popular YouTube channel, Expedition Bible, Joel documents many of the sites referenced in Scripture, giving viewers the opportunity to see the Bible come to life! Throughout their talk, Frank and Joel will cover topics like: What is Joel's greatest personal find? Is there anything special about Ancient Babylon today? How has the secularization of archaeology affected the field? Why should biblical chronology be considered more reliable than pottery chronology? How was the Moabite Stone discovered and why is it considered one of the greatest archaeological finds of all time?   As you'll hear during this episode, archaeology and the Bible work together like a jigsaw puzzle. As experts in the field continue to uncover ancient artifacts, the Bible gives context to many of those unique finds. The Mission and Vision of Core Apologetics | with Dr. Ben Shaw

Has the idea of biblical inerrancy gone out of style? In today's modern church we've seen far too many professing Christians and even pastors struggle with biblical illiteracy, some choosing to abandon the biblical worldview altogether. As hostility towards the Christian faith continues to grow and commitment to the Gospel continues to decline, how can true followers of Christ equip themselves to learn, live out, and defend the truth of Christianity? In this midweek podcast episode, Dan Hodges, Executive Director of CrossExamined, sits down with Dr. Ben Shaw, president of Core Apologetics, to talk about Ben's faith journey and how his love for Jesus, evangelism, (and hockey of all things!) led him to a career and ministry in New Testament scholarship, working alongside the world-renowned resurrection scholar, Gary Habermas. What is the mission of Core Apologetics and how has Gary Habermas' lifelong research impacted this much needed ministry? How do you live out a biblical worldview if you're in a career like medicine or law enforcement? All this and more will be discussed in this special follow-up conversation with Dr. Ben Shaw! Are the New Testament Documents Historically Reliable? | with Dr. Ben Shaw

Do we have good enough reasons to believe that the New Testament documents are really telling the truth? One of the most effective ways to establish that Christianity is actually true is to demonstrate that Jesus rose from the dead. But do the Gospel accounts contain enough evidence to support a literal, historical, and miraculous first century resurrection? During the recent Steadfast apologetics conference hosted by SES, Frank sat down with Dr. Ben Shaw of Liberty University, who is working alongside the great New Testament scholar, Dr. Gary Habermas, on four volumes of Gary's magnum opus. Ben holds a PhD in Theology and Apologetics, serves as the president of the brand-new ministry Core Apologetics, and is also the author of the upcoming book entitled 'Trustworthy: 13 Arguments for the Reliability of the New Testament', which will be released in 2024. In this week's podcast episode, Ben and Frank tackle questions like: How do scholars determine the dating of the Gospels? Is there better historical evidence for Jesus than for Alexander the Great? What has it been like working with Dr. Habermas on his magnum opus? What are some of the most embarrassing details recorded in the New Testament and how do they support its reliability? Should the Gospels be categorized as historical fiction? What are the minimal facts that even skeptics like Bart Ehrman accept about the New Testament?   Early documents, eyewitnesses, and embarrassing testimonies are just a few pieces of evidence that show that the New Testament is a credible source for the historical Jesus. As you'll hear in the show, mounting evidence for the resurrection continues to strengthen the claims of the risen Jesus, even causing non-Christians to acknowledge the evidence as valid. There's no doubt you'll be encouraged by what you learn in this discussion! To view the entire VIDEO PODCAST be sure to join our CrossExamined private community.
