Dr. Dan has an inspiring conversation with his colleague and friend Dr. Andy Garrett about identity, authenticity, living with purpose, uncertainty, and thriving.
Dr. Garrett teaches us that when our life, work, and relationships reflect choices we have freely made ? that are authentic to who we are and that align with what is most important, meaningful, and purposeful to us ? we thrive.
Dr. Dan and Dr. Andy discuss that we all can grow the life, the family, the love, and the success we strive for and we can teach our children how to do the same. This episode will help listeners think about their identity, uncertainty, and ultimately creating their own plans to live life on purpose.
With a doctorate in clinical psychology and extensive studies in life coaching and consultancy, Dr. Andy Garrett is at the forefront of a revolutionary movement towards personal growth. Dr. Andy uniquely emphasizes a positive psychology approach that utilizes established individual or relational strengths rather than underscoring what may be pathological or dysfunctional. In blending this approach with cognitive behavioral psychology, existential psychology, and solution-focused strategies, he provides a transformative brand of therapy.

At OuiSi, Paul and his co-founders and team believe that making real connections is the ultimate contribution, and OuiSi is an expression of this calling. Paul believes that life is a richer experience when we are curious about each other. OuiSi blossomed as an idea in 2015, when Paul met co-founder Kaz Brecher at the THNK School of Creative Leadership. Both enjoyed exploring the world through the camera lens. The recurrence of patterns, colors and shapes in daily life and nature fascinated them. After years of development and design, in 2017 OuiSi came to life as an app. But the idea of creating a physical version of OuiSi was always in the back of their heads and in early 2019 Paul, Kaz, and Michael Bradley (the third Co-Founder) ran a successful Kickstarter campaign for OuiSi Games of Visual Connection.
Paul focuses on enabling co-creation, play, and mindfulness in our world. Today?s conversation between Dr. Dan and Paul about mindfulness, unplugging, social-emotional learning, creative expression, connecting and creating community is a way forward for us all.
