Mary Lambert: All I Know of Love Is Hunger

Mary Lambert talks about coming out in the church, growing up with a bisexual mom, the highs and lows of Same Love (with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis), and the life-saving importance of talking about your trauma. She describes the radical vulnerability in her book of poetry, Shame Is An Ocean I Swim Across, saying, "There's value in being radically vulnerable because it encourages empathy, and that empathy carries over into connection.
